This can go the way of AVOW, a consistently good performer at this level and in top form at present, landing a 6f Wolverhampton claimer this month in some style. Craicattack isn't the most consistent but landed a similar contest over 7f here three starts ago and can be given a chance on that effort while Lingfield maiden winner Mrs Boss and Wolverhampton claiming winner Stef And Stelio are not without claims.
Stan Moore holds a strong hand here with the form picks Craicattack and Avow, and preference is just for the former, who is the more straightforward of the pair and will be hard to reel in if able to grab an early lead, as when making all here a few starts back.

CLOCKMAKER, who cost connections 130,000 guineas, has repaid little of that by finishing second in turf maidens at Newbury and Yarmouth but he's a well-bred sort and, if he takes to the all-weather, should be up to landing this. Brannagh put in two good efforts last year, including a third on the polytrack at Lingfield, and he looks the danger while Aultcharn ran in a couple of good maidens at Newbury last season and can be given a chance in this company.
Brannagh took a while to get the hang of things on debut but stepped up on that when third at Lingfield last autumn and gets a narrow vote over the 4-y-o Clockmaker. Aultcharn's stable got off the mark for the year on Saturday and he looks a likely improver, while Sailorman is a newcomer to keep an eye on.

Affinity is a beautifully-bred daughter of Sadler's Wells and if she possesses a fraction of the family ability, could take all the beating on her racecourse debut. Gay Mirage has been well beaten on her two turf starts but takes a sizeable drop in class today while Sister Earth was a well-beaten third on her debut over 1m 1f at Wolverhampton last October but was seen running on strongly at the finish and must be given a chance over this trip. Preference, however, is for YEMENI PRINCESS, who won a 2m 'bumper' at Lingfield on her debut this February. She's since put in two fine efforts on the Flat over this trip on the all-weather, finishing a good second last time, and can make her experience tell here.
There are some well-bred fillies on show here, though it remains to be seen whether they have ability to match. John Gosden's Sister Earth was badly in need of the experience on her only 2-y-o start and could leave that well behind. She gets a tentative vote, though market support for Henry Cecil's Affinity could spell trouble.

Hard to rule any of these out. Wild Rose was well beaten in a Listed race at Newmarket but earlier landed an all-weather double, while Goodlukin Lucy tackles handicap company and the all-weather for the first time but was an impressive winner of a Musselburgh maiden. Mercoliano was an easy winner of a Wolverhampton maiden last time and looks feasibly treated while Atlantic Tiger scored well over this trip in a Lingfield maiden. It could be worth taking a chance on MAWADDAH, who has never raced over this sort of trip but looks exceptionally well weighted after his comfortable running-on Lingfield success last month and should strip a lot fitter for his first run in four months.
Four of the 5 won last time out, but it's a surprise to see Mawaddah at 1½m after his 7f success. Goodlukin Lucy has been hit hard for her Musselburgh victory, whereas the assessor may have underrated Mercoliano's Wolverhampton romp, and he gets the vote from Atlantic Tiger.

A tricky puzzle to solve but SCOTTISH BOOGIE might provide the answer if he's fully wound up for his seasonal reappearance. He made good progress last year, ending with an impressive victory over 7f at Yarmouth in October. He has another 7lb today but won well enough to suggest he can defy the handicapper if handling the track on his all-weather debut. Red Gulch, a 7f Wolverhampton maiden winner last month, Avenuesandalleyways, who scored over 6f here in January, and Faited To Pretend, successful over 7f at Lingfield last month, can all be given chances on their handicap debuts.
Faited To Pretend took a big leap forward on her first start for Marco Botti last time and, despite a lower than ideal draw, she's taken to follow up from what looks a handy initial mark. Tartan Trip is better drawn and should also figure for a yard that has been visiting the winners' enclosure here regularly of late, with Avenuesnalleyways best of the rest.

In another trappy contest, it could pay to side with Wolverhampton 1m 6f winner VENIR ROUGE (engaged to run over hurdles here yesterday). He only got home by half a length this month and is up 5lb today but was pulling away in style at the finish and should be suited by this longer trip. Calculating and Prince Charlemagne are in good form and have won off higher marks in the past while Fleur De'Lion's recent 1m 4f win here was in a claimer but she can't be ruled out. Gaselee's only win came on turf but she had some good form last back end and could prove the danger if handling this step up in trip.
Ermyn Lodge hardly ran a bad race last season, responding to the fitting of headgear towards the end of the campaign, and he's taken to make a winning return from a competitive mark. C&D scorer Star of Pompey would be a threat if back to her best for a new stable, while Calculating is seldom far away.

The seven-year-old ORCHARD SUPREME doesn't seem the most consistent these days but he boasts an outstanding record on the all-weather, with ten wins and ten places from 42 starts. He showed little over this trip at Windsor last time but won cosily over 1m 2f at Wolverhampton before that and can defy a 3lb rise in the weights to follow up back on polytrack. Gaily Noble has scored twice over a mile at Lingfield this year but only got home by a neck last time and may struggle with another 5lb to carry, while Wigram's Turn usually goes well at this track but has no margin for error at the weights. The Which Doctor has scored twice on the all-weather and drops in class today. He could be the one for the forecast.
A very open contest, with better expected from Pegasus Again given the lack of pace in the contest. Even so, Grand Vizier gets the nod courtesy of his impressive strike rate on AW. Orchard Supreme and The Which Doctor are another 2 to consider.
