This looks difficult to call but a slight preference is for ROBBIE'S LADY, who has failed to go through with her efforts over 6f. The drop in distance should enable her to break her duck tonight. Star Catch deserves respect after a good second in this grade over 5f at Penn while Mygoldenticket returns after a lengthy absence but has claims on her best form.
NO BLOVIATING gets the vote here as he drops in trip and class. He's struggled somewhat of late but should find this much more to his liking. Hank The Billymax is another who has failed to deliver but will be more at home here while Kipper Kat has claims on last year's form.
GOLD CLASSIC is worth siding with despite her five month absence. Before her break she scored twice over C&D and, if she's fully wound-up, could take all the beating. Flyaway Princess may prefer this shorter distance having weakened badly in the final stages over longer trips but is also returning from a long absence. Hailey Keen won over five and a half furlongs back in September and has looked in decent shape since, although not able to follow up.
SHE'S GOT THEFEVER missed out on a hat-trick last time when stepped up 6f. She takes a different route this time, dropping in distance and that might do the trick. Carmen Camacho is looking to land the double after winning handsomely at Mountaineer Park and should mount a challenge while Queenie's Baby warrants respect after her success in a $21.7K allowance race last July.
A tough race to call with a lot of runners dropping down but slight preference is for DON'T YOU LINGER, who finished fourth in a $4k maiden claimer over four and a half furlongs recently. That was his first appearance this year and he should strip fitter for the run. Two Sons recorded two third places in quick succession at the start of the year but has since failed to replicate that form. Vivalavidaloca has been working out well and despite a poor showing over four and a half furlongs here four days ago he can't be ruled out.
David Geist's WISKAWAY can get off the mark here after knocking at the door recently. He's faded late in slightly longer trips and can open his account tonight dropped in distance. Bold Direction has been placed on both his outings and looks the danger while Keltic Fighter is another who could benefit for the drop in trip.
Barossa completed a double towards the end of last year and has a fine record at this track. I'll Make It scored four in a row but his absence since last July tempers enthusiasm. WHO NEEDS TO KNOW picked up his first win of the year in February and has been placed in all four starts this year. He can score again back over his winning trip.
This should be within the capabilities of DON'TGETSUSPICIOUS, who is returning from a lay-off but is a cut above this opposition if at the top of her game. Captivating Cathy looks the obvious danger on the form book and should give a good account along with La Chica Rica who also takes a slight drop in class.
City Spirit is sure to prove popular now dropped to this level but she has something to prove after a weak effort last time. Paradisia could go well but the one to be on could be PASSION PRINCESS who has plenty of speed and can usually be relied upon to give her all.
