Verdict

TRAIL RUNNER got the better of TRADITIONAL BELIEF (on debut) in a 1160m maiden but is 2kg worse off and engaged to run at an earlier meeting. QUIET WINTER and returning ROYAL KAILANI are open to any amount of improvement over this extended trip but both are awkwardly positioned in wide starting berths. Older fillies PRINCESS ILARIA, GLAMOROUS LADY and CAPE SAFFRON have the means to get into the picture too.
