PORTHGWIDDEN BEACH may be a maiden after four starts, but the switch to handicap company brought about instant improvement when second at Wolverhampton last time and she can go one better here. Ladydolly is another maiden who went close last time, and she holds Dreams Of Glory on Warwick running, so even though the latter has winning form on the all-weather, he needs to find more to cut it on turf.
One suspects that Porthgwidden Beach will benefit from stepping up in trip but, with a strong pace likely, Stuart Williams' charge is taken to come out on top. Ladydolly and Quadra Hop may offer most resistance.

Coax could relish this slightly shorter trip after struggling at Goodwood, but preference is for ABERGELDIE, who charged home for a narrow defeat at Warwick last time and can defy a 2lb higher mark.
A number are open to improvement, not least Sienna Blue, with the step back up to 1m likely to be in her favour. Mister Ben Vereen and Silken Thoughts head the list of dangers.

If Kadoodd produces a similar performance to the one when second at Thirsk last month he will take plenty of beating, but RUN RABBIT RUN ran a race full of promise at Newbury and could strike. Roger Varian's charge showed distinct signs of inexperience when running on from the rear to take fifth and should have learned a lot. Sirius Superstar went close at Salisbury and is another danger, while The Bells O Peover cannot be ignored.
Galivant is a major player back down in grade and Unex Renoir is much respected given his trainer's strike rate in maidens here. However, the one to be on is Sirius Superstar, whose conqueror at Salisbury last time has since run well in a competitive handicap.

Tweedledrum landed a modest maiden at Kempton and may have a bit to find off a mark of 70, so LAVERRE gets the vote. Lucy Wadham's filly made it three wins on the bounce at Bath last time and a 3lb rise looks feasible.
Shy hasn't put her best foot forward so far this term but is worth chancing back at the scene of her last victory. Now What is capable of a bold bid, while Rock My World is still unexposed.

C&D winner Shes Rosie deserves plenty of respect as she reappears under a 6lb penalty, but MISS DUTEE was arguably even more impressive in picking up from the rear to score at Brighton and shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop in trip on this stiffer track. Abeer drops markedly in trip after a lacklustre run at Nottingham and has a bit to prove, as does Guided Missile, who sports a visor for the first time after failing at Kempton.
Guided Missile didn't fire on her handicap debut but the promise of her maiden win is still fresh in the mind and she's worth giving another chance in a first-time visor. Miss Dutee and Volcanic Dust are others to consider.

A good performance from Little Perisher in the preceding race will boost the claims of Dancing Welcome, who was one place ahead of that rival at Salisbury, but she may have to settle for a supporting role again, this time behind CRIMSON QUEEN. Roy Brotherton's filly showed plenty of early speed at Warwick before fading over that 7f trip and this distance could prove ideal. Itsthursdayalready and Charlietoo also have claims.
