MUTADARREJ was in good form on the Flat in Britain last summer and, after a spell hurdling, returns to this sphere on a mark 7lb higher than when scoring at Bath in August. His fitness has to be taken on trust but he might have a little bit of improvement left in the tank. Bondage remains feasibly treated on the pick of his Flat efforts (won off 3lb lower at Leicester last term) and will strip fitter for a recent hurdles outing at Killarney. Dream Champion completes the shortlist.
Few of these have any secrets from the handicapper but with Pat Flynn's horses starting to hit form it may pay to side with Binocular who was successful on his only previous visit to this track. Mutadarrej, Striking Force and Articilitis are others to consider, whilst Lucky Spring and Ghareer would both be of interest if getting a run.

Adiynara continues to disappoint and is starting to look exposed so it could pay to side with JOUSTER, who showed up well on his debut when third at Killarney earlier in the month and can be considered a little unlucky having met trouble in running that day. With the benefit of the experience behind him and this extra yardage looking ideal, Andrew Oliver's charge gets the vote. Jim Bolger's newcomer Faiseanta is one to monitor in the betting this evening and completes the shortlist.

GLENSTAR has been outpaced over 2m the last twice and gets the vote now returned to 2m4f, although it is a very tentative call and Up Ou That is expected to give him plenty to think about. The latter failed to stay 3m at Punchestown last month and had previously finished behind the selection over 2m Ballinrobe, when well held in third but looking in need of this intermediate trip. Loch Long returned to form when second in a Tipperary maiden last time and is also considered.

It is unlikely we have seen the best of BLACK EMPRESS yet. While she needs to improve upon previous efforts to figure, Willie Mullins' mare is a tentative choice in an open looking bumper. Fantastic Gold posted her best effort yet when third at Kilbeggan last month and, if running to a similar level of form here, shouldn't be far away. Moncherie ran well from the front at Wexford last time and, if keeping a little more in reserve for the finish today, can also go close.
Black Empress is going the right way and may be able to improve past the likes of Glibin and Fleur de Nuit. Eviegrace is the most interesting of the newcomers.
