The form of ERDELI's comfortable victory over C&D three weeks ago has been boosted by with the second coming out and winning since and, although a 7lb hike in the handicap is sure to make life more difficult, he gets the vote to follow up. Quiet Whisper ran well for a long way before running out of steam and finishing a distant third on his comeback run over 2m4f at Aintree earlier this month and dropping back in trip will help what may be a sharper horse now, while Forest Rhythm has been running well in defeat recently and cannot be ruled out.
Erdeli had something up his sleeve when opening his hurdling account over this C&D recently and has good prospects of following up off his revised mark, possibly at the chief expense of Taroum.

Penyfan Dawn faces his easiest assignment since tackling hurdles and seems sure to be involved at the business end of the race, but LEOPARD HILLS edges the vote. A decent performer at this level, he showed a liking for the track when landing a selling hurdle over C&D the best part of two weeks ago and a repeat performance would make him difficult to beat. Fisberry found the selection 7-lengths too good that day and it's difficult to see how he can reverse placings on 5lb worse terms.
Chrysander is a serious force to be reckoned with in this grade and likely to prove too strong for the thriving Leopard Hills. Le Corvee may fare best of the remainder.

OSTLAND won impressively on his chasing debut over this trip at Fontwell earlier in the month and, entitled to have learnt a great deal from that experience, he could take some stopping in his bid to complete the double. Downward Spiral found only the in-form Paint The Clouds too good over C&D last time and he should give another good account of himself today, while Cat Six is certainly no forlorn hope from the foot of the weights having shaped encouragingly on her first start over fences at Fakenham recently.
Downward Spiral will be hard to peg back if allowed to go on in front, but Ostland looked good when making a winning start over fences at Fontwell and seems sure to win more races in this sphere.

It's difficult to look past THE STRAWBERRY ONE in her bid to complete the hat-trick. David Arbuthnot's in-form mare made it three from four at the track when hacking up over 2m5f here ten days ago and the worrying thing for her rivals is that there is plenty of room for further improvement. The other last time out winners and joint top-weight's, Exiles Return and There And Then, may be left to scrap it out for minor honours.
The Strawberry One is impossible to oppose despite her double penalty, and should have too much class for There And Then and Exiles Return.

An open looking contest which could go the way of PHOTOGENIQUE. Although unable to record a win from 18 starts over hurdles, she made a promising start to her chasing career when a fast-finishing second over an extended 2m here three weeks ago and stepping up in trip should help. Crack At Dawn was only a length behind the selection that day (finishing third) and should be hot on her hooves again, while Nesnaas is well treated on his best form and produced his best effort for some time when runner-up at the track recently.
With Nesnaas and Photogenique far from certain to repeat their recent runner-up efforts, Ilongue is the tentative alternative in a trappy contest.

TERRA BLEU appeared to benefit from the application of cheekpieces (worn again today) when going down by the narrowest of margins over an extended 2m4f at Uttoxeter last time (third and fourth have racked up three wins between them since) and he may be able to go one better off a 4lb higher mark here. Marie De Laufon wasn't disgraced when third at Fakenham some four weeks ago and that first outing since October will have blown any cobwebs away, while Jug Of Punch isn't without claims on his return to action.
Not too hard to whittle this down to Terra Bleu and Marie de Laufon. The latter should strip fitter for her recent reappearance, but the former is well handicapped and must go close if keeping the mistakes to a minimum.

Art Broker has filled the runner-up berth on his last couple of outings and seems sure to go close once again, but BIG BAD BOO looks the one to beat. He showed plenty of encouraging signs when runner-up on his hurdling debut over this trip at Fakenham recently and that experience certainly won't have been lost on him. Laudatory took a step in the wrong direction at Huntingdon last time but wouldn't be without chance if recapturing the sort of form which saw him collect the bronze medal at Stratford previously.
This stiff track may not be ideal for Art Broker, but it's still very hard to get away from him. Laudatory and Big Bad Boo can fight out minor honours.
