HARRY FRY had another fruitful campaign in 2018-2019 with 47 winners and £823,437 in prize money and If The Cap Fits and staying hurdle giant Unowhatimeanharry kept the stable’s name up in lights with Grade 1 victories, respectively, at Liverpool and at Punchestown in the Spring.
The Seaborough standard bearer, now 11-year-old, is back to do battle once more and If The Caps Fits could well cross swords with his stablemate at some stage. Another moneyspinner Bags Groove will be back and Acting Lass is one of those back off the sidelines ready to resume action.
Fry has patiently waited for the ground to ease for a team that invariably like to get their toes in and his season has really kicked into gear in the past week with four winners from his eight runners. White Hart Lady looked a class act when sluicing up in her bumper at Aintree on Sunday and the appropriately-name Winningseverything had the lips smacking with an imperious success on his hurdling bow at Southwell.
There are several other potential stars coming back off the sidelines, a lovely looking bunch of raw recruits and Harry kindly spoke to Tony Elves of ATR about those that can carry him forward for further glories this season.
