127-rated hurdler. Returned to winning form with a length-and-a-half success over Dance And Glance in a 2m handicap hurdle at Sandown in January off a mark of 122.

Trainer says

All In You came to me from the David Maxwell dispersal sale. He ran very well at Ascot when just getting touched off from a slow pace. I had the Newbury Hurdle in mind, but I just wanted to make sure I was thinking along the right lines, so we ran him two weeks later, which was probably a bit soon, but he put up a great performance. Again off a slow pace and on bad ground, he quickened really well. I think a fast run two miles will see him to better effect. We will drop him in again, but he has a high cruising speed and a good turn of foot. He is off 127 in the William Hill Hurdle and his form has worked out well. Hot Fuss, who was back in fourth at Sandown, has won a valuable handicap hurdle at Windsor since, so the form looks good. We are learning about him all the time, he is in good form, and a strongly-run race will suit. He has done well the last twice when the pace probably wasn’t as strong as he would have wanted. He had two fairly quick runs and so has been freshened up nicely, and he may have one more leg stretch before Newbury. He isn’t ground dependent, so conditions will be fine and all looks good. The County Hurdle could also be a possibility and then we might bring him back for the Flat, as I do think he has some very good form from France and so could be one for the second half of the Flat season.

113-rated hurdler. Off the mark in a junior ‘National Hunt’ hurdle at Taunton (2m ½f) in December when scoring by seven and a half lengths over No Boundaries before finishing runner-up, beaten seven lengths, to Matiwo under a penalty at Newbury (2m ½f) in January.

Trainer says

He has run in three junior National Hunt hurdles. He was third, then won at Taunton and was then second at Newbury. He is a big horse, and is still a big baby and quite cocky. He’s still quite immature and will probably have one or maybe two more runs this season, but he is a horse that is just going to get better and better and become a chaser. He is a lovely, big animal with a lot of ability.

Finished runner-up, beaten three quarters of a length, to Planters Punch on debut in a junior ‘National Hunt’ hurdle at Hereford (2m) in November and has won two similar events since, first beating The Grayster by 12 lengths at Doncaster (2m ½f) later that same month before following up with a four-and-a-half-length defeat of Network Gold at Lingfield (2m) in December.

Trainer says

He is a good type and has won two junior National Hunt hurdles. He will run in one or maybe two more this season. He is a very straightforward horse and a chasing type in time. I was very impressed with him in both of his last two starts, and I will keep him as a novice for next season.

137-rated chaser and 128-rated hurdler. Better effort over fences this season when finishing sixth, beaten six and a half lengths, behind Twig in the Becher Handicap Chase at Aintree (3m 2f) in December off a mark of 139.

Trainer says

He has just turned 10 and the main aim is still the Topham in April. It was slightly owner-directed at Market Rasen - he has always had it in the back of his mind that he doesn’t stay the three miles, which I don’t agree with, so we ran him at Market Rasen in a veterans’ race, and I sort of knew what the outcome would be. We will look for something in mid-February, and I have had his wind tinkered a little bit which I was conscious of. The main aim will be the Topham, and he has been in great form this season. I took him to Punchestown at the end of last season thinking he would run well there before going hunter chasing, but he won the Listed race and therefore couldn’t go hunter chasing. I wasn’t going to complain, and that could well be his job next season, where he will find everything a lot easier.

Scored by a length and three-quarters over Mahler Moon in a 3m 1f handicap chase at Hereford in November off a mark of 112 and followed up over that sane course and distance in December when beating Ithaka by 10 lengths off a mark of 115. Finished pulled up on his latest start at Newbury (2m 7½f) in January.

Trainer says

He has won two-from-four in chases - he won two on the bounce, and then at Newbury he just wasn’t man enough in a much better handicap. I thought the track would suit him and I still think that, but he’s only just turned six and hasn’t had that many runs. We will lower his sights a little bit, but I do think this horse will be a nice staying chaser in time. He is normally a very good jumper - he stays very well and wouldn’t want really soft ground.

Trainer says

He was a good bumper horse, and he has been very consistent over hurdles. He didn’t quite handle the ground at Ascot, where the trip may just have been a bit too far, but he did well to win his maiden hurdle at Wincanton. I will probably look for a novice with a penalty, and I might look at something at the end of the season too - something a bit bigger before he goes off. This horse is all about chasing next season - he is a marvellous jumper who is going to be a lot better over fences.

120-rated chaser. Pulled up on latest start at Wincanton (3m 1f) in January off a mark of 121 but had previously gained his second success of the campaign when beating Captain Boudet by four and a half lengths off a mark of 115.

Trainer says

He is similar to Buckna. I took him to Wincanton where he was a short-priced favourite but the ground was horrible, which he didn’t handle, and again in a competitive handicap he just wasn’t man enough for it. Similarly to Buckna, I will now lower his sights, but he has loads of talent and I’m sure he will do better in time.

Winner of two of his three bumpers in Ireland. Gained his latest success at Ballinrobe in September when beating Blue Waters by five and a half lengths.

Trainer says

He hasn’t run for me yet but has won two bumpers in Ireland. The plan is to run in the Listed bumper at Newbury next month. He is a nice horse and has been showing up well here, and we will make a plan after Newbury.

112-rated chaser. Finished runner-up, beaten three lengths, to House Of Habsburg in a handicap chase at Warwick (3m 1½f) in January off a mark of 111.

Trainer says

He was out with a tendon injury, but he came back and was running well at Haydock before falling two out. He’s subsequently finished second twice, and I probably need to just drop him back in trip a bit. He is not a slow horse, so I will drop him back to two and a half. He goes on any ground and is a relatively young horse, with few miles on the clock, so I would expect him to keep going up the ranks.

137-rated chaser. Bounced back to winning form at Cheltenham (3m 1½f) on New Year’s Day when beating Katate Dori by half a length off a mark of 135.

Trainer says

He is a fabulous horse, and he really seems to love Cheltenham. He has run there three times this season, winning once and finishing second and fourth. The plan is to go straight to the Cheltenham Festival now. He had three quick runs but runs best when fresh, and we will run in either the Ultima on the Tuesday or the Kim Muir on the Thursday. He will get in both, so I will just weigh up the races and run him in whichever race I think he has the best chance in. He goes on any ground and stays well, and I might even have a look at the Scottish National at the end of the season.

Trainer says

He has just come back in, and he is more of a spring/summer horse. He is very consistent and did well last season. He will probably be ready to run in mid-March. He is still relatively young, and I think there is still a bit of room to go further up the ranks.

Trainer says

He is a horse I am very fond of - he had his first run over fences and finished second. He didn’t perform the next time, but he came back and his trach wash wasn’t very good. I backed off him and am just going to wait for some better ground, but he is a proper two-mile chaser and still a young horse. He is probably better on a flat track, but I think this horse has a lot of ability. He has the size and scope, and going on into the spring I could see him doing very well.

Trainer says

He is a horse who I actually thought was going to be my best novice this season, but for whatever reason it just hasn’t happened. He has been very consistent without winning, and I put it down to possibly still being a bit babyish. He has only just turned five and has bumped into a few really nice horses. I will look down the handicap route now - he has a mark of 111, and if you had told me that at the beginning of the season I wouldn’t have believed it. He is a horse that will probably go over fences next season, but I will stay over hurdles for the time being. He is going to reach good heights - he is a good horse.

102-rated chaser. Hasn’t raced since finishing fifth, beaten 16½ lengths, behind Will Carver in a handicap chase at Cartmel (2m 5f) in May 2024 off a mark of 109.

Trainer says

He prefers a bit of better ground and has had an injury, but he was very consistent over fences. He seems to have done very well physically for his enforced break. He is in at Southwell on Monday, and they have given him a few pounds back. He will be a horse who will run all through the summer.

Winner of a maiden hurdle at Southwell (2m) in December, when scoring by four and a quarter lengths over Sutherland, before finishing runner-up, beaten a length and a half, to Eddie My Eagle in a novices’ hurdle at Plumpton (2m) on Monday.

Trainer says

He finished second on Monday and is a horse I really like. He is highly strung, so you just have to be careful how you handle him. I was a bit disappointed that he didn’t win at Plumpton, but he probably had an easier race for finishing second and that will be good for him moving forward. We will just mind him a bit this year, but he is going to be a proper chaser - he is a very good jumper.

He was a breeze-up we bought, and although he didn’t win on the Flat he still ran some very good races. We switched him to hurdles this season and he won very well at Market Rasen. He is a tough, hardy horse who handles most ground and will get a trip. He is learning how to race now and will run in the next couple of weeks over two miles or a little further. Again, I can see him stepping up on what he has shown so far.

He has been second three times, but I thought his last run was his best - he is very straightforward. He likes a bit of soft ground, seems to be getting better and better, and his mark is quite interesting, so I might look at that, but he will make a nice chaser.

Trainer says

He won two for me last season, but he is very fragile. He has been slightly easier to train this season, but now I’ve stepped him up in grade he needs three miles. He prefers a flat track and loves soft ground, and there is a race at Newbury next month that should suit him.

Winner of his last two starts, scoring by a length and three-quarters over Highland Legacy in a handicap chase at Newbury (2m ½f) in December off a mark of 129 before following up with an eight-length defeat of Grain D’Oudairies in a similar event at Doncaster (2m ½f) last Saturday off a mark of 134.

Trainer says

He has won two-from-three over fences and they gave him a mark of 142 on Tuesday. There is a race back at Doncaster in February, and then I think I will have a look at one of the big handicaps at Aintree. I think he is more of a flat track horse at the moment, but ever since we schooled him over fences he has thrived - he loves it. You wouldn’t know how far he could go, as he is doing everything fairly easily at the moment, and he is a nice horse.

120-rated hurdler. Winner of two junior ‘National Hunt’ hurdles at Bangor (2m ½f) in November, beating Diamond Jim by five and a half lengths, and Wincanton (1m 7f) in December when scoring by three and a half lengths over Mecene.

Trainer says

He is another National Hunt juvenile and is two-from-two. I think he is a very good horse, and he might run at Doncaster next week. He now has to give away 10lb, but if he is able to do that, unlike the others, I might dip his toe into something better. Out of all of them, he is the one you could have a look at putting into a Graded race.

Shown promise in two bumpers. Finished third, beaten two and a half lengths, behind Double Measure at Uttoxeter last March before finishing sixth, beaten nine and a half lengths, behind Smile John Boy at Hereford in November.

Trainer says

He ran well in his first bumper and probably just needed the run in his second. He is in a maiden hurdle at Southwell on Monday and he jumps very well, but he probably wouldn’t want the ground too heavy. He will probably want two and a half miles in time, but he is a horse that I like.

Trainer says

He has had one run for me over hurdles at Ascot, where he got a bit tired. He is due to run next week - probably at Ludlow. He is a horse for next season and is a fine, big horse that I like a lot.

Off the mark over hurdles when beating Appleshaw by a head in a novices’ handicap hurdle at Taunton (2m ½f) in December off a mark of 100 and subsequently produced another solid effort to finish third, beaten two and three-quarter lengths, behind General Briar in a handicap hurdle at Newbury (2m ½f) in January off a mark of 108.

Trainer says

He is another horse we bought from the breeze-ups, and he won for us on the Flat. He has just taken a bit of time to learn to settle over jumps, but I think he is getting there now, and he ran very well at Newbury last time. He is in at Taunton next week, where he won in December, and is a horse who should just keep improving.

Trainer says

He did well as a juvenile hurdler last season, and I thought he would be very good over fences this year. It took him a couple of runs, but when I stepped him up to two and a half miles he nearly won at Newcastle. He seems to have come out of that race really well, and I would be very surprised if he didn’t win before the end of the season, although I also think that when you look at him he is still a frame of a horse, so next season might be his season.

Off the mark with a six-and-a-half-length success over Boys Of Wexford in a handicap chase at Fontwell (2m 3½f) in November off a mark of 104 before finishing a solid third in a mares’ handicap chase at Cheltenham (2m 4½f) in December, beaten three quarters of a length, behind Party Vibes off a mark of 112.

Trainer says

She ran very well to win first time over fences and then probably ran even better to finish third at Cheltenham. I then ran her at Market Rasen and thought it would just be a canter round, but she ran like she had lead in her legs, although she still managed to finish fourth. We came back and tested her, and she seemed to have a bit of a viral infection. She is fine now, and anywhere between two and a half to three miles will come next, whether it’s a mares’ race or not. I think she is a smart horse who will win before the end of the season and then go on.

123-rated hurdler. Pulled up in a Listed mares’ hurdle at Sandown (2m 4f) in January but had previously run well to finish runner-up, beaten six and a half lengths, to Sunset Marquesa in a mares’ handicap hurdle over the same course and distance in December off a mark of 124.

Trainer says

I tried her over a fence for her first run this season but it didn’t go to plan, so I switched her back to hurdles. She ran well at Ascot and then went to Sandown and ran well again. We then ran her back at Sandown, but she came back all wrong and is now on the quiet list. She will be back soon and gets anything from two and a half to three miles, and also goes in most ground. She is the sort of horse I can see getting black type.

127-rated chaser. Gained his third success of the season when beating Safe Destination by a length and three-quarters in a handicap chase at Kempton (3m) in October off a mark of 121.

Trainer says

He is similar to Jet Of Dream - he has just come in and wants better ground. He has won nine from 17 but is still a young horse and has improvement to come. He will be ready to run from mid-March onwards.
