Verdict
TUBA's last success came over C&D in December and the five-year-old is fancied to bounce back from his latest start at Chelmsford where he weakened quickly. This isn't a strong contest for the grade and he gets the vote at the expense of Wasthatok, who returns to the level after a spell jumping during the winter. Prince Quattro appears best of the remainder.
Expert View Verdict
WASTHATOK has been in good form jumps since his last Flat run in the autumn and appeals as being on a fair mark back on the AW - he was a good runner-up at Southwell in September off 1lb higher. He's favoured to Tuba, who was disappointing last time but is now stepping back up to a more suitable distance. He'd been in good form previously and is expected to bounce back. King's Cruiser hasn't yet lived up to expectations but he's bred to be a fair stayer and perhaps the first-time blinkers will prove the making of him.
