Verdict
ALRIGHT DAI arrives in fine fettle having won over hurdles at Taunton before making a successful start over fences at Fontwell. Despite a 7lb rise, Neil Mulholland's gelding makes plenty of appeal stepping back up in trip. Le Grand Vert bounced back to form when returning to the UK at Ayr and a repeat of that display would give him every chance. Realisation and Upfordebate head the remainder.
Expert View Verdict
ALRIGHT DAI had a fair bit in hand when making a winning chase debut so is expected to defy a 7lb rise here. He didn't beat much that day but he was progressive over hurdles previously where won over 3m on his only try over this far. He should have more to offer over staying trips and can defeat dual C&D winner Upfordebate who has enjoyed a productive season. The suggestion was last time that the handicapper may have caught up though. The consistent but frustrating Realisation can complete the tricast.
