GRAND SPORT is expected to benefit from this drop in class having looked out of his depth in a $50,000 claimer latest. The mile trip looks right down his street and this appears a more realistic assignment on paper. Tonto and Officer Warrior are also of interest.
KEITH'S ROSE has shaped with promise on her two starts to date and, with more to come from the filly, she is expected to reverse the form with A Lady Called Max if prominently ridden tactics are brought to the fore. Coast Of Sangria is another for the shortlist.
TIPPY TOES displayed marked improvement at Churchill Downs last month, when a step up in trip appeared to work wonders and, if in a similar mood in this, she is expected to go very close. Benimari and Leave It Up To Me makes most appeal elsewhere in the field.
LIGHTSHAFT is beginning to prove expensive to follow but she appreciated the drop in trip last time out and is worthy of another look. She had Lyle's Angel behind on that occasion, and she looks the main danger in this but it is tough to dismiss Ebony Run who continues to improve.
ASHEE looked out of her depth in a $47,000 allowance contest last time out but this drop into claiming company will undoubtedly help and, with a good record at this track, she is expected to be reunited with the winning enclosure after this. Bellezza Rosso and Chickatari are others with claims.
STRIKE DOWN has ran well for new trainer Eberd Estrada since making the switch in August and, now given a chance in beaten claiming company, the three-year-old may prove a class above his rivals. Of those, Notadream and Wright Rendezvous represent the dangers.
REFLECTING RIVA drops back into starter allowance company and, having not disgraced herself in a $40,000 contest latest, the daughter of Lion Hearted is expected to make the frame when push comes to shove. Forbidden Brew and Storm Rubi are also in with a squeak.
ROCK SOLID ARCH has held his form well in recent times, albeit in defeat, but this looks an ideal opportunity for the $57,000 yearling to recapture the winning thread. Miami Mako and Regal Revenge can also get serious where it matters most.
THAT'STHEQUESTION appears to have found his level in this $5,000 claimer and, with useful speed figures to his name, the son of Holy Bull is expected to take this drop in trip in his stride. M'S Will and Zuri Mwana are also of interest.
