THUNDER BALL bids to land a hat-trick in this allowance optional claimer and having impressed in similar company last time out, when trouncing his rivals, the son of Golden Missile looks rock solid. Helping Hand and Tar Beach are also of interest.
TE ATATU is yet to score for new trainer Joe Woodard but having tired over the 6f trip when last sighted, the decision to drop back to the extended 4f could prove a profitable one. Stolen Pennies and Spell Run are also of interest.
Crockefeller takes a notable drop in class here for Edward Allard but slight preference is for MEDAGLIA'S IMAGE. The colt broke his maiden tag here recently and, having taken to the track since joining Stephanie Beattie, the three-year-old can do the business now stepped into claiming company. Casanova Brown is another with claims.
BABE'S CHOICE had the reopposing Seeking The Citi behind in a similar contest last time out and, on a repeat of that solid runner-up effort, the Dennis Beattie charge is taken to shed her maiden status. Anne's Tuition is another for the shortlist.
It's worth siding here with DRAYTON HALL, winner of a $7.5k maiden claimer here on his second start and a closing fifth over 6f here next time out. This is slightly tougher but there should be more come and the step-up in trip looks in his favour. Oyster Cat and Listentothejunkman can fight out the minor honours.
STELLSIE and Bold Maneuver both won better races last time out here but the former has run well in better company and gets the voter tonight. Sweet Clarice can lead the rest home.
It's worth taking a chance here on MONTECORE, who hasn't won since May but that was in a $20k claimer. He's gone close recently in better races than this and can get back to winning ways tonight, dropped in class. Buzz Town and Capixaba can't be ruled out.
This should go the way of ZEALOUS BLONDE. She's been knocking on the door in better races and should be let in tonight, dropped in grade. No Point N Arguing is running well and looks the one for the exacta but has plenty to find with the selection. Seren looks best of the rest.
