HERO OF THE SEA weakened into fourth in the closing stages when racing over an extended 5f at Atlantic City when last sighted and gets the vote now dropping back in trip. Piratesonthelake usually gives his running and looks the one for the exacta. Loco Coco completes the shortlist.
TUDELOO has benefitted from the step up to a route the last twice and a reproduction of her latest second at Delaware would put her firmly in the picture. Galofmydreams advertised her well-being when scoring at Atlantic City when last sighted and can give the selection most to think about. Emerald Song is another to consider.
ENIGMATIC certainly wasn't stopping when scoring over 1m here last time and he will be well fancied to follow up tonight. Menifee Six looks an obvious danger on the back of his workmanlike victory at the track, while Lover Nekia can usually be relied upon to run his race.
SKELETON CREW showed a likeable attitude when landing the spoils over this trip at Pimlico last time and he will prove a tough nut to crack if in the same mood tonight. Snow Mon faces his easiest task of late and should feature, while Palamonium is no forlorn hope.
DRAMATICA won three of her four starts last year in most impressive fashion and, likely to have improved since, she gets the nod. Girls' Getaway has the four-timer firmly in her sights and won't go down without fighting while recent Philadelphia winner, Oh So Clever is worthy of consideration.
ONE PUNCH gamely held off all rivals to open her account over track and trip last time and, with that confidence booster under her belt, she could go in again. Triple Great faces a much easier assignment than her sixth here latest and should bounce back to form, while Fiddlerfromdelphi has place claims.
MALIBU RHYTHM scored with plenty in hand at Delaware last month and a reproduction of that effort should see him go close here. Benevolent Nate has claims on the pick of his form but has been out of sorts of late and a better option for the exacta is Firehouse Willie, who opened his account in a track and trip maiden claimer last month.
Moon Over Malibu needs to bounce back from a lacklustre effort over an extended 5f here last month so EIGHTYFIVE S gets the verdict at his expense. The last-named finished a credible third in the same race here latest and is expected to relish this drop in trip. Snow Way is also considered.
Ginnygin should appreciate this step back in trip after finding her stamina stretched over a mile last time, however, the vote goes to GRANNY MAC, who was putting in her best work in the closing stages over an extended 5f at the track last time and will relish this extra yardage. Sunset Heights appeals most of the remainder.
