HALLING'S TREASURE has displayed a fair level of ability in three hurdle starts, placing on each occasion, and this represents a fantastic opportunity for him to open his account. The fitting of cheekpieces may also help him improve further. The other experienced runners need to improve considerably, so it could be worth focusing on Flat recruits Kitten Rock, Streak and stablemate Ebony Roc in terms of dangers. GOLD NOT SILVER stepped up on a couple of solid placed efforts when tenaciously getting the better of subsequent winner Court Jester over this trip at Down Royal last month and, open to further progress, he gets the vote to defy a 7lb rise. The obvious danger is runaway Naas scorer Seamus Mor, although he has a 12lb rise to contend with over this extra half-a-mile, while Vincent Row is just 1lb higher than when placed over 2m7f here and it's worth noting that blinkers replace the cheekpieces worn that day.

MEASUREOFMYDREAMS confirmed ability shown between the flags when a half-length second on his bumper debut at Thurles in January and, with the fourth subsequently franking that form, he looks like the one that they all have to beat. Ballychorus has collected the bronze medal in a couple of maiden hurdles and one bumper start and she should be in the thick of things again, while Capital Pursuit is a very interesting player first time under Rules after landing a Belharbour point-to-point by four-lengths. The Herds Garden and Sub Lieutenant add further spice to what looks a high-class renewal.
