DESOTO COUNTY is hard to oppose despite having failed to justify cramped odds the last twice. Entitled to have come on plenty for his hurdling debut at Haydock in December, the better ground may also bring about improvement from the Hernando gelding and this isn't the strongest of renewals. Mohawk Ridge must concede 7lb to the selection for his Carlisle win, while Rockabilly Riot gets a weight for age allowance and can also make an impression.
