SARABAD makes most appeal in the opener. This stoutly-bred gelding displayed a fair level of ability in two hurdle starts in France, including a placed effort in Listed company, and he is sure to be ready for action first time out for Willie Mullins. Hisaabaat, Red Calima and Discoteca are all interesting additions to the NH game and each warrant respect, but it's the Gordon Elliott-trained latter who is most feared after winning twice on the level for Andrew Balding.
A whole host of interesting recruits to hurdling, the best of whom may be Discoteca, but Sarabad and Chill set a good standard on what they have achieved over timber to date, with preference for the former who can make a winning Irish debut.

It's difficult to look past AUPCHARLIE here. A fine third in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last term reflects his talents and he shaped as though he may just have needed it when collecting the bronze medal first time over hurdles at Thurles last month. The Way We Were showed plenty in a Wexford bumper and has place claims, as does Jessica Harrington's hurdling debutant Espresso Lady.
Aupcharlie may have been turned over at a short price on his hurdles debut last month, but is expected to take this with the minimum of fuss. The Way We Were and Expresso Lady can follow him home.

BIG ZEB can add to his 2008 and 2010 victories in this race. Colm Murphy's stable star showed that his summer at grass has done him no harm whatsoever when beating the reopposing Noble Prince on 5lb worse terms at Navan last month, and he can only improve for that first start since May. Paul Nolan's charge has place claims once again, but it's the ever reliable Golden Silver who looks the one for forecast purposes.
A more fluent display can be expected from Golden Silver with Paul Townend back on board, but he found Big Zeb too strong in last year's renewal and Colm Murphy's charge is fancied to come out on top once more. Noble Prince is unlikely to be far away in a fascinating contest.

Difficult to envisage SOUS LES CIEUX having any problems here. The Willie Mullins-trained French import stepped up on a mightily impressive comeback victory when landing the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse and, worryingly for his rivals, he remains open to plenty of further improvement. Dylan Ross' high cruising speed should see him travel into the race well and possibly take second spot from stablemate Formidableopponent.
Sous Les Cieux has created a strong impression in winning both his starts this season and is difficult to oppose once more. The Noel Meade pair, Dylan Ross and Formidableopponent can follow him home.

Others to be considered are Some Present, not disgraced at the highest level a couple of seasons ago, Punchestown novice scorer Citizenship and the inconsistent Strain Of Fame, who has claims on his best efforts.
Baby Whizz and Scottish Boogie are 2 of a number in this field open to further improvement over hurdles but they may have to give best to Lastoftheleaders who looks very well handicapped if he can transfer his recent improvement over fences back to hurdles.

In this wide-open affair, it might pay to stick with Ayr winner ON HIS OWN. He's up 9lb but was impressive that day and is open to further improvement on his first start for Willie Mullins. Fairyhouse scorer Smoking Aces could prove the danger but he's 7lb higher than for his latest success and appears reasonably exposed. Groody Hill is chasing a four-timer but the handicapper may have his measure now, while Sona Sasta and Some Target are not without chances.
A typically competitive renewal of this showpiece handicap is in the offing, but Groody Hill is taken to follow-up his Troytown success. Ad Idem narrowly denied in that race can go well again and is another to consider, whilst it would be no surprsise if On His Own took a step forward on debut for Willie Mullins.

BALLYCASEY has progressed well between the flags and should be capable of making his debut under Rules a winning one. He turns out for one of the most successful trainer-jockey partnership in these contests in Ireland and will take all the beating. The well-bred newcomer Expanding Universe is a danger but chances are also given to Our Vinnie, third twice in similar contests, another newcomer in Oakamoor, and Coolking, who was third at Galway last time out.
Ballycasey represents a yard that does fantastically well in bumpers and has a good record in this race, but may have to play second fiddle to Expanding Universe, who looks a likely type for a stable capable of getting one ready first time. Our Vinnie may prove best of those with previous experience.
