DANZIGER may be capable of building upon his maiden victory at Lingfield earlier in the month as he made every yard of the running to score that day and has bagged the plum draw this evening, which could assist should he opt to attack from the front once again. Quality Art is out of sorts at present but considered well treated on the pick of his efforts for Gary Moore. Nevertheless, recent efforts for current connections have been below that level so a bigger threat may be recent Wolverhampton third Russian Bullet.

Danziger had plenty in hand when getting off the mark at just the second time of asking for her new yard at Lingfield recently and is a confident pick from a plum draw against the rail. The potentially well treated Quality Art has hinted at a revival of late and could be the one to give the selection most to think about.

ABIGAILS ANGEL returned to form with a creditable 1m second at Lingfield last month, staying on well in the closing stages to hint a return to this longer trip, over which she's a triple winner, would elicit immediate improvement. Whitby Jet is 3lb higher than when striking over this track and trip in December and is considered the main danger, though Conducting, who has been running to a high level of consistency lately, and Buckland, who steps up in distance, are also entitled to be thereabouts.

HURRICANE SPIRIT is a force to be reckoned with in this grade and has won on each of his last four runs at claiming level. His latest victory came over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton but he's also a C&D winner. He'd be getting less weight off both Only Ten Per Cent and Masai Moon if this were a handicap and therefore rates the one to beat. Spinning Ridge and The Mongoose are capable of making their presence felt but may be vying for a supporting role on these terms.

Tinkerbell Will returned from a short break in fair heart with a creditable C&D second last month and is respected, despite a subsequent 3lb rise in the ratings. Spirit Of Gondree, who is upped in trip on the back of his 1m2f course third, is another with place claims. For win purposes, however, SOMMERSTURM rates the one to beat. The re-fitting of a tongue-tie worked the oracle for him at Lingfield latest and he may be capable of defying a 5lb rise, over this slightly shorter trip, to land a double.

Watch out for: Tinkerbell Will (11)

Sommersturm has gone up 5 lb for winning at Lingfield and seems sure to go close again. Sovento shaped better than the bare result here last time and needs monitoring in the betting, while Spirit of Gondree also caught the eye on his latest start.

Clear Praise usually gives his running under these conditions and is entitled to be thereabouts, while there may be better to come from Roy The Boy, who has been consistent over 7f and now drops in trip. There may be more to come from Willie Musson's charge and he should be capable of commanding a good early position from a low draw. Guards Chapel merits a market check upon his return from a long break since he struck off 1lb lower at Lingfield on his last start on the Flat. Up 4lb for his recent Southwell victory, Scribe is another for the shortlist.
