Point-to-point winner FOXROCK was gambled as though defeat was out of the question when he made his debut at Leopardstown at Christmas, but the gelded son of Flemensfirth unseated Ruby Walsh at the first flight. His recent second to Mala Beach was full of encouragement and connections appear to have found him a good opportunity to get off the mark this afternoon. Los Amigos and Kashline can also get competitive.

CORBALLY GHOST's only defeat under Rules came at the hands of Simonsig in a Fairyhouse bumper in April 2011 and Noel Meade's lightly-raced six-year-old is already two from two over timber. A Grade 3 winner when last sighted at Cork, the son of Central Park hasn't been seen for 437 days but he clearly has plenty of talent and should have more to offer. Apt Approach notched in a similar race at Fairyhouse three starts ago and can be excused a lacklustre effort over fences at Leopardstown last month, while Western Leader completes the shortlist.

Punters are likely to latch onto Un De Sceaux who makes his debut for Willie Mullins and the dual French bumper winner commands the utmost respect. However, SAMMY BLACK makes most appeal returned to maiden company. He recorded his best performance yet when stepped up to 2m4f at Leopardstown in a competitive handicap, so expect him to be ridden prominently coming back in trip on ground which suits. Behind the thriving Shariyan on his last two starts in handicaps, that form is the best on offer here. Alexander Leaving rates best of the rest.

QUEEN OF THE HILL had the reopposing Carrigeen Lonicera the best part of three lengths in arrears when second at Limerick last month and should go very close again if running up to her rating of 112. Wexford bumper winner Chiltern Hills should also be thereabouts, but she's proving expensive to follow after four starts over hurdles. Turica is another to consider and could make the frame at generous odds, while Casablanca Lily won't be too far away if back on song.

SPIKER THE BIKER dead-heated for third before being promoted to a share of second in the stewards room when last sighted at Fairyhouse and, up just 1lb for that narrow defeat at the hands of Miss Xian, another big run could be on the cards under a nice weight. Valley Of Thrushes warmed up for this with a successful Limerick spin over fences and he's also considered a major player, along with Super Vic, who bumped into the in-form Twin Plan on her last start.
