KINEMATIC built on a trio of nearly efforts in maiden company when impressively making all on her handicap debut at Chester and, having already shown an ability to handle testing underfoot conditions, she is fancied to defy a 7lb rise. Pearl's Azinger readily won her maiden on rain-softened ground at Catterick in June and she warrants plenty of respect now sent handicapping, while David O'Meara's progressive filly Snow Cloud has a squeak off bottom-weight.

Watch out for: Pearl's Azinger (2)

Snow Cloud goes off the same mark as when second in soft ground at Nottingham last week when she had to weave her way through, and looks the one to be with. Pearl's Azinger is interesting back from a break, while Chester winner Kinematic is also feared.

It's extremely difficult to look past PORTAMENTO. With a top-rating of 96, Charlie Appleby's colt is extremely well treated at these weights and he may well be allowed to dictate from the front as he did when decisively landing a novice stakes race at Lingfield. Marigot Bay ran well in testing conditions at Windsor last time and she and Pontefract third Arthur Martinleake, who is wearing cheekpieces for the first time, look set to fight out minor honours.

Everything points to a huge run for SHARED EQUITY. Jedd O'Keeffe's improving three-year-old hasn't put a foot wrong in three starts so far this year, he showed an ability to handle cut in the ground when winning his maiden at Newcastle in April and won with enough in hand back at Gosforth Park last time to suggest that he can defy a further 6lb rise. Master Bond has been running consistently well and rates the biggest threat, ahead of Iseemist and Jamaican Bolt.

MY DREAM BOAT gave the impression that an extra furlong would suit when finishing runner-up over six furlongs at Ayr and looks the one to side with. Terhaal represents a yard that is enjoying an 18% strike-rate with its juveniles this term and it wouldn't be a huge shock if he began repaying his 300,000gns sales fee. Tafahom fetched 110,000gns at the sales and is an interesting contender for the same ownership, while Lone Star Boy can improve for his debut sixth at Redcar.

My Dream Boat looked well worth a try at this trip when chasing home a pretty useful sort at Ayr in July, and she rates shortlist material. However, expensive purchase Terhaal makes plenty of appeal on paper ahead of this debut and she gets the nod for William Haggas. Structured Note is also worthy of respect.

RITE TO REIGN has been performing creditably in defeat all year, including when runner-up at Chester on his first start since June, and still looks to be on a workable mark now trying two miles for the first time. The trip is less of a concern for Perfect Summer after she finished a close fourth at Kempton over this distance but she does have a 51-day absence to overcome. Mighty Missile runs from 2lb out of the handicap but was only beaten by half a length when last sighted over this yardage and may still be ahead of this mark on just his ninth start.
