He was held into second over C&D last time out and should deliver as the top-rated horse this evening. Sendreni has kept better company of late and is capable of more dropped in class with Angaric worth a second look as he returns from a short break.
Botham is in his element at this track and can make the most of a good opportunity to register his fifth course win. Hettie Hubble is likely to offer the most resistance.

Jim Goldie's charge, GRACEFUL DESCENT, is now rated 1lb lower than her winning mark over C&D last summer and this may be her chance to get back to winning ways. She was not at her best at Doncaster earlier this month but it would be foolish to overlook her this evening. The lightly raced Sand Tiger has more than enough ability to play a leading role if at his best. He scored over 1m1f at Musselburgh earlier this year and is tested for the first time over this trip. Ballade De La Mer may reward each-way support.
Sand Tiger is the clear pick of the weights on his Musselburgh win in April, but he has yet to prove his stamina at this longer trip. Graceful Descent has no worries on that score and could prove the better option, whilst Shy Glance also holds place prospects.

La Capriosa made it three wins from four starts on her latest outing on the all-weather at Southwell as she made all to see off a moderate field. This looks her ideal trip and she scored on her latest appearance on turf to offer plenty of encouragement. Preference, however, is for TOP BID despite a disappointing effort at Newmarket last time out. Tim Easterby's charge had looked in good heart winning his two previous starts this year and can return to winning ways here. Haajes and The Bear both deserve a mention.
All of these are capable if in the mood. Methaaly has often proved his durability when bouncing back from a blip in the past and is a hopeful choice to do so again. Tadalavil and Haajes could fare best of the remainder.

BRONZE BEAU has enough ability to see off his rivals this afternoon but he is not the most straightforward and will need things to fall for him if he is to win this evening. Residency made his seasonal bow at Beverley at the start of the month and should come on for the run, while Bees River represents Jim Goldie's yard and the four-year-old may reward each-way backers at a big price. She came on for her seasonal reappearance to finish a close fourth at Ayr recently and is entitled to improve further.
Bronze Beau hasn't looked the most genuine on occasions, but he is well worth another chance to end his frustrating sequence of near-misses now dropped to this easier level. Residency and Distant Vision appeal as the main dangers.

MONTE MAYOR ONE held on well to take the honours over 6f at Ayr earlier this month and he should be able to make an impact one again despite a 6lb penalty. Frontline Boy is heading in the right direction and should take a hand. He recorded a career-best effort when second at Nottingham recently and, off the same mark of 64, is one to consider. Loss Leader has plenty of speed and was a touch unlucky to be headed into second at Catterick recently.
Monte Mayor One showed a good attitude when pulling clear with the runner-up at Ayr last weekend and should make a bold bid to defy her penalty. Loss Leader could well have more to offer on the back of his improved effort at Catterick and ought to figure as well, despite being 2 lb out of the weights.

Bold Marc had been running with plenty of credit in handicaps before his second in a claimer at Redcar. He's rated 9lb lower than his winning mark of last summer and should be in the shake-up here. Royal Straight narrowly held Stellite over C&D last month and it would be no surprise to see either in the shake-up this evening. Preference, however, is for RALEIGH QUAY who got back to winning ways over this trip at Musselburgh and has been progressing nicely this year.
Raleigh Quay's recent Musselburgh win is working out well and he looks a good bet to defy his penalty. Royal Straight and Croeso Cusan are other likely contenders.
