GOODWOOD TREASURE finished runner-up to Memory on her debut over 6f at Goodwood and made no mistake in getting off the mark over the same track and trip when long odds-on last time. She could take all the beating here. Avonmore Star has done nothing wrong and, whilst he probably has a little bit to find with the selection, he is still highly respected. Wotsthehurry (engaged to run at Newbury yesterday evening) sprung a surprise at Warwick earlier this month but this looks much tougher.
Avonmore Star sets a good standard and, although Goodwood Treasure is open to improvement, Richard Hannon's charge should have too much class for her.

An intriguing contest and a case can be made for a few of these. Kuanyao won with a bit in hand on his reappearance at Yarmouth and a 5lb rise might not stop him from going close. Lucy Brown, Timeteam and Erebus also come into this in fine form and make the shortlist but a tentative verdict goes to BATELEUR. Things have not panned out in his favour on his two most recent outings but he is well handicapped on the pick of his form and can make his presence felt.
Kuanyao has won his last 4, including on his recent return, and may well have further improvement in him. The Wee Chief could give him most to think about, while Sweet Gale is capable to getting amongst them if she breaks on terms.

SIR ROCKY was sent off favourite on his debut at Windsor but he was too green to do himself justice and, with plenty of improvement likely, he can figure much more prominently this evening. There are a few interesting newcomers including All The Evil, Coachlight and Marzante, as well as the stablemate of the selection, Measuring Time. The market is likely to provide the best guide to what is expected of them.
A potentially informative maiden in which the newcomers All The Evil and Marzante particularly take the eye on paper. However, Richard Hannon has an excellent record here with his juveniles and could well strike again with Sir Rocky who looks sure to make significant improvement stepping up from 5f.

Luca Cumani's charge ROCK N ROLL RANSOM blew away the field on his debut at Nottingham last month. Luca Cumani's well-related three-year-old showed no signs of inexperience and looks one to keep on side. Rule Maker represents Jeremy Noseda's in-form yard and he opened his account over this trip at Windsor last time out. He makes his handicap debut off a competitive mark and should be on the premises, while Dubai Set also warrants respect.
It was hard not to be taken with Rock n Roll Ransom's debut win at Nottingham last month and, though he'll be suited by further in time, he can still account for Rule Maker and the rest here.
Successful at 7f and 1m 5f on good to firm and good ground; has also won a hurdle. Finished 19l behind Yemeni Princess when sixth of 8 at 22-1 on his latest outing at Warwick over 1m 7f (good) last month.

SHY was a comfortable winner over this trip at Chepstow just 10 days ago and despite a 6lb rise from the handicapper, she should remain competitive. She's progressed nicely this year and has to make the shortlist here. Chincoteague has never come closer to shaking off her maiden tag than at Leicester last month when she was touched off in the closing stages. She doesn't look far away from recording a first success. Cast Of Stars needs to raise his game but should appreciate this step up to 1m4f.
Cast of Stars could be a different proposition entering handicaps on the back of a break, but Chincoteague is bred to be better than this grade and she gets the nod. Higgy's Ragazzo should also be thereabouts.

FRANCES STUART won with plenty in hand over C&D last month and looks to have come on plenty for her debut back in May. With further improvement on the cards, it would be no surprise to see her score on her handicap debut. Field Day returned to action in impressive style finishing, second over 1m at Nottingham last month, and having won on debut last October she is one for the shortlist. Love Match has been in consistent shape and steps up to 1m for the first time this evening.
This looks set to be dominated by the progressive pair Field Day and Frances Stuart, with slight preference for the former.
