It's hard to see beyond SECRET EDGE for the answer to this. A game winner of a Listed hurdle at Wetherby two starts ago, he was third in a Grade 2 hurdle at Cheltenham subsequently and should have too much class for these rivals. The only threat appears to be Colebrooke, an emphatic C&D winner in this grade last time out but Hi Note and Reggie Perrin could fight it out for the minor money.
Secret Edge has the best hurdling form on offer and is likely to be hard to beat, with further improvement over this trip a distinct possibility. Colebrooke and Reggie Perrin may give him most to do.

Plenty in with chances here but preference is for KAUTO THE ROC, caught close home when a gallant second at Huntingdon last month on his chasing debut. With that run under his belt, he can go one better now. Ffos Las winner State Benefit seems to have lost his way over timber but might be rejuvenated by the switch to the bigger obstacles while the prolific Brackloon High could also go well on his chasing debut.
An interesting race despite the small field and Brackloon High, Kauto The Roc and State Benefit should all win races over fences. Fresh may be the time to catch Real Treasure, though, and she gets the nod on her chasing debut.

In a wide-open affair, preference is for FOX APPEAL, who scored with some ease over C&D in a maiden hurdle last month despite running green at times. With that experience under his belt, he should be capable of following up. The Cheltenham 'bumper' winner Lets Get Serious must be considered on his hurdling debut but his lack of a recent run is worry. Chances might also be given to Duke Of Monmouth, Medinas and Midnight Gamble.
Lets Get Serious produced a near-smart performance to win his bumper at Cheltenham in autumn 2010. If as effective on this far more testing ground he could well continue in the same vein over hurdles, but he has no easy task against fellow bumper scorer Medinas, plus Fox Appeal and Duke of Monmouth, both of whom shone over C&D last month.

Kappelhof has won this twice in the past but age may have caught up with the veteran now. Recent C&D scorer Curragh Dancer and Watergate, back over hurdles recently following a fall over fences at Folkestone, have sound claims but preference is for HUNT BALL, despite his 7lb penalty following last month's Folkestone win. He has looked a progressive sort in three starts over fences, scored cosily latest and there should be plenty more to come.
Hunt Ball remains well treated after landing a gamble in style last week, but the ground will be very different this time and it might be worth chancing Watergate in opposition. Jolibob is another to consider if first-time blinkers have the desired effect.

Kanturk has been placed in both starts over timber but has been well held both times and needs to raise his game. The same can be said of Amaury De Lusignan, who looks flattered by his form figures and has plenty to find. They may struggle to peg back ROSOFF, a Lingfield hurdles winner off a 5lb lower mark at the start of the year. Two good runs following a summer break should have put him just right for this.
Amaury de Lusignan is almost certainly the best long-term prospect in this field and is respected given his yard's prowess at this track, but he ideally needs further, leaving the door open for Rosoff and Festival Dreams, the former getting the nod.

It's difficult to oppose the claims of C&D winner SOUTHWAY STAR here as she bids to complete a hat-trick. She escapes a penalty for her latest success in a conditional jockeys' race at Exeter last week and should take all the beating once again. Consistency has proved a problem for French import Ladyvie but she has sound claims on the pick of her form while the penny may have dropped for Manics Man and he cannot be ruled out.
Southway Star is difficult to get away from going unpenalised in her hat-trick bid. Matrow's Lady, Manics Man and Ladyvie are others that come here in good heart and will ensure she doesn't have things all her own way.
