BE LONG GONE gets the tentative vote in a tricky opener. She has reached the frame in each of her three starts so far this year and should be in the shake-up once again. Six Plus Six and Hooked On Money are others worthy of consideration.
PLUS A FEVER is taken to open his account at the fifth time of asking. He has been running well in defeat recently and this significant drop in grade will make life a whole lot easier. Wee Doch An Doris and Chaleco are the dangers.
UNBRIDLED TOGA won cosily over five and a half furlongs here last time and, with this longer trip not a concern, she gets the vote to follow up. Justasmalltowngirl has been knocking on the door recently and should be in the shake-up again, while Tequila Ridge is no forlorn hope.
BEDSIDE TALES, yet to finish out of the frame in eight visits to the racetrack, did the job nicely over 6f here last time and will be well fancied to go in again tonight. Quality Plus and Grand Treasure are expected to give Eskei Beech's gelding most to think about.
MONTESSORI won with plenty in hand over a similar trip here last time and could take some stopping if in the same mood tonight. Hat-trick-seeking India Doll looks an obvious danger, while Now Now Girl is another worthy of consideration, dropping in class.
DECIMATRIX has been running well in defeat over a route recently and is taken to finally open her account now dropped in trip. Delaware Champagne shaped with promise on debut when second over the extended 5f and merits consideration along with Pleasurific.
NIKOLAI B continues to run well in defeat and a reproduction of his recent course second, when beaten by a length over a route, could see him score tonight. Stay High Stanley, third that day, is feared most. Repetal completes the shortlist.
BAMBI BOUND arrives here right on top of his game and won't be inconvenienced by this drop in trip, as he bids for the hat-trick, given he's a previous distance winner. Last time out C&D winner Match Stick and Boston Chief are others to consider.
OMMADON STEVIE rattled the crossbar when beaten by a neck here last month and is taken to go one better while evidently at one with herself. Sweethearts Kiss looks the best option for the exacta although a chance is also given to Lil Irish Princess, who scored over 6f latest and now steps up in trip.
