Indepub remains only 1lb higher than when second at Pontefract on his handicap debut in July and may be capable of better over this longer trip. However, NEMUSHKA looks the one to be with. Richard Fahey's daughter of Sakhee made a winning debut over this trip at Ayr last time and looks to have been allocated a fair opening mark ahead of her handicap bow. Arrowroot and Al Jemailiya have already dipped their toes into handicap waters without success but have place claims if building upon their latest efforts.
Nemushka did well to win on her debut and she can maintain her unbeaten record off a handy mark now switched to nurseries. Gabrial's Princess should do better in this sphere and can go well, while Joshua The First can reach the frame once more.

ONE KOOL DUDE sets the form standard based on a string of consistent maiden efforts this term, including credible placed efforts behind the likes of Lily's Angel and Lilbourne Lad at the start of the season, and should be tough to beat if running to his rating. Rougini took a forward step when second over this trip in a Thirsk claimer last time but needs to raise her game now up in grade. Of more interest is James Given's newcomer, Taffe, who would be interesting if the market spoke in his favour.
One Kool Dude and Rougini can both go well in a weak maiden but both have their limitations and it could be worth chancing Annie Beach on her debut. She comes from a shrewd stable and any money for her would look significant.

Ingleby Arch is a well handicapped individual these days having scored off 2lb higher on bottomless ground at Ayr last term. Should the ground be riding on the slow side, a big run would be anticipated, but the similarly well-treated RYDEDANE edges the vote. Tim Easterby's charge returned to the winner's enclosure when scoring at Hamilton last month and remains competitively weighted on the pick of his form now turned out under a penalty. Toby Tyler won a 0-80 at York in July and also warrants respect in a weaker event today.
Ryedane returned to winning ways in an amateur event recently and he is still well handicapped despite his penalty. He can follow up here at the main expense of Captain Scooby and Toby Tyler.

KOO AND THE GANG is 4lb higher than when winning over 7f here in June but has held his form well since returned to a mile subsequently and rates they one they all have to beat if putting his best foot forward. Charlie Cool and Kiwi Bay usually run solid races over C&D and have dropped 5lb and 4lb respectively since fighting out the finish here last October. Regimental has wining track form and is another to consider, as a three-year-old taking on his elders, if capable of bouncing back from a flat effort latest now returned to 1m.
Munsarim will find this a bit easier than the Goodwood event he tackled last time and can return to winning ways at the main expense of Toto Skyllachy and Kiwi Bay.

LLEWELLYN may have found his stamina stretched over 7f to 1m to date and looks worth chancing now dropping back to sprint trips for the first time. The main danger may be posed by American Lover, who was noted as finishing strongly over 5f at Beverley last month and is well worth a try over this longer trip. Others to consider are Kevin Ryan's Merito, tackling 6f for the first time, and Violet's Gift, who is bred for this shorter trip having found 1m beyond her on debut at Kempton last time.
Merito looked a bit better than the result last time and can score in a racve which won't take much winning. Llewellyn can't be ruled out in this company, while Stilletoesinthemud is another with place prospects.

ZEFOOHA bagged a third C&D victory when scoring by four lengths here latest and looks a solid option to follow up off a 6lb higher mark. A first-time visor may spark improvement from Falcun, who races off the same mark as when beaten by half a length over this trip at Newcastle last time out. Others to consider are Colonel Sherman, who enlists the help of Silvestre De Sousa, and Golestan Palace, who is expected to improve upon a poor Kempton effort now returned to turf.
