Dual polytrack winner Cheers is sure to be popular on the back of two near-misses on turf but she has yet to encounter soft ground, unlike SHARED MOMENT, whose last win on grass came in the mud at Warwick. Three times a winner on the all-weather since, she has slipped back to a turf mark 2lb lower than her last polytrack success and her C&D fourth last time out suggested she is returning to form. Croeso Mawr is another to consider with her recent seasonal debut under her belt.
Hard to be confident about anything here, but Cloud Illusions is undoubtedly well treated, and with her stable going better now, she's worth chancing. Croeso Mawr and Cheers are probably the chief threats.

Richard Hannon won this in 2008 and 2009 and has sound claims again with Beedee, a C&D winner on debut before finishing third in a warm contest at York. Fortinbrass has improved with each of his three runs and his Newmarket success has been boosted by the runner-up, while Nottingham scorer Ishi Honest went close at Newbury subsequently. It could, however, pay to take a chance on MRS BROWN'S BOY. He looked in need of further when following his debut win with a promising third in a 5f event at York, and that form is working out well.
C&D winner Beedee's stamina will come into play under the prevailing conditions, and he's fancied to improve again for his top yard. Birdman and Ishi Honest are the dangers.

Auntie Kathryn has been knocking on the door and looks sure to go close on her turf return, but she has had plenty of chances now and MONTY FAY is preferred. The selection was having only his second turf start when narrowly going down over 5f on good ground here last month, he is entitled to strip fitter for that first start since January and the form has been boosted by the fourth and seventh scoring since. Greyemkay showed a liking for this track when third last time and a repeat effort should see him in the shake-up.
Glennten has a small race in him and looks capable of taking this if handling the ground. Auntie Kathryn could be the one for the forecast.

MYBOYALFIE loves to get his toe in, as he showed when scoring over 1m (sixth has won since) on the turf at Lingfield last week and, as a previous C&D winner with conditions to suit again, he is taken to make light work of his 6lb penalty. Spinning Ridge and Douze Points both filled the runner-up berth last time out and can fight it out for the silver medal again, with slight preference for the former, who boasts winning course form.
Royal Box should be a bit happier back at this trip and he can take advantage of his current lowly mark. Douze Points and Myboyalfie look best of the rest.

It looks best to concentrate on MONSHAK and Rosie Probert. The latter stayed on well for third behind a subsequent winner in a 1m2f maiden at Salisbury and should relish this extra yardage, but the forecast softer conditions are an unknown. The selection, however, handled the mud when chasing home a well-regarded sort over an extended 1m3f first time out at Yarmouth, where she finished nearly a distance clear of third. The well-bred daughter of Monsun can put that experience to good use tonight. Rose Season can pick up the minor honours.
Monshak made a good start to her career at Yarmouth and can go one better under similar conditions. Across The Galaxy and Rose Season could be the pair to concentrate on for the places.

Conditions are forecast to be very different compared to when SAMMY ALEXANDER bounced off the firm surface to score over this C&D last month, but David Simcock's gelding has been placed on soft ground before and looks to have been handed a good opportunity to follow up off just a 4lb higher mark. He may have most to fear from Hamilton Hill, who narrowly missed out over C&D on his penultimate outing and is only 1lb higher now. Effigy looks best of the remainder.

Sunny Future continues to slip down the ratings, despite two decent efforts in defeat this term, and is now eligible for this 0-65 event off top weight. However, his strike-rate tempers enthusiasm so the vote goes to DECANA, whose 1m6f victory on the Fibresand at Southwell in December suggests a soft turf surface will be to her liking and she confirmed her wellbeing when going very close on her seasonal reappearance off this mark at Kempton last week. Four-time all-weather winner Blue Cossack completes the shortlist.
Decana remains open to a bit of improvement and she can come out on top in a winnable event. Our Folly and course specialist Spinning Waters can chase her home.
