AWAYWITHTHEGREYS made a pleasing return to action after an absence of over six months when beaten by less than five lengths into third place at Ffos Las behind High Storm. He should be better suited by these quicker conditions, having landed his bumper on good ground last term, and his yard is enjoying one of its purple patches. Record Breaker continues to deliver a solid enough account without getting his head in front and should be on the premises once again, whilst Nemi has shown enough promise to play a part although the form of his yard remains a slight concern.
The change of headgear could see Record Breaker return to form, though that may not be enough to get the better of Awaywiththegreys. Nemi looks a stayer, but his form entitles him to respect even at this trip.

PEACHEY MOMENT has plenty on his plate conceding weight all round but has always looked a talented chaser capable of taking higher order and impressed when scoring unextended at Sedgefield. He's yet to travel this far but his style of running suggests it will be well within his compass and he can oblige. Tuskar Rock battled on well to score at Uttoxeter and should go close despite a 7lb penalty for his in-form yard, whilst Herons Well shaped stylishly last time on his return from the hunter chase arena. I Need A hero is also respected.
Herons Well has been in good heart of late and looks the most solid option with McCoy back in the saddle. Quattrocento could get back on track with the fitting of a tongue tie, while Peachey Moment has a clear chance if his stamina lasts out.

JOLLY ROGER, also entered at Hereford on Thursday evening, is upped in grade but such has been his recent rate of improvement and ease of victory that he's well worth rowing in with again. Effortless in success at Newton Abbot last Monday, he must go well if remaining in the same form. There are plenty of dangers in an open contest though with Rebel Dancer nominated at the main threat after a really good effort behind Knight In Purple at Wetherby. The top pair may just have too much weight and the consistent Inoogoo looks likelier shortlist material.
Jolly Roger has been a revelation of late and has sound claims of continuing his winning spree if allowed to take his chance. Prankster and Inoogoo are probably the chief threats.

A valid case can be advanced for all in a tight contest but BHALTAIR has become a tremendously consistent performer for Donald McCain and another good effort is anticipated off his unchanged mark after a solid runner-up effort at Perth over this trip. He stays further so expect Jason Maguire to adopt a prominent position from the outset and maximise his partner's guaranteed stamina. City Ground should have more to offer as a chaser after just two outings over larger obstacles and looked on the upgrade when scoring at Stratford. Fellow Stratford scorer Grand Lahou also merits respect despite top-weight.
There was much to like about City Ground's recent victory at Stratford and he's taken to follow up. Bhaltair could be the one for the forecast.

REAR VIEW has his first outing since leaving the Jessica Harrington yard to join Donald Mccain. Pulled-up in bad ground at the Punchestown Festival when last seen in April, he had previously looked a progressive sort over timber and this looks a good opportunity for him on ground that should suit far better. Vegas Cash was an impressive scorer in a Ludlow bumper last month and is a potentially useful hurdling recruit for Rebecca Curtis. He rates the main danger. Another Irish import, Buachaill Alainn, is also worthy of consideration, having joined Peter Bowen from the Hanlon team.
Rear View has solid form to his name from his time in Ireland with Jessica Harrington, and sets the standard here on debut for Donald McCain. Vegas Cash may be the one to give him most to do having won a bumper recently, though Buachaill Alainn and Friendship Bay also need to be considered.

Pickworth rediscovered some decent form with a battling success here last month but WITH GRACE, second that day, is better off at the weights and should progress for her first run since last September. Matters are complicated by the presence of her stablemate Dipity Doo Dah, but that was a most pleasing comeback effort and she can go one better. Dipity Doo Dah has looked like winning the last twice, only to idle late on, but it would be folly to dismiss her claims. Recent Fakenham winner, Hi Ho Silvia, is upped in grade.
With Grace has sound claims of turning around last month's C&D form with Pickworth, but Dipity Doo Dah looked well ahead of her mark when idling away victory at Market Rasen last week and is worth another chance to get the job done.

AP McCoy and Rebecca Curtis have become a dangerous combination and their record in bumpers is exceptionally good. Their representative, Blanchland Abbey, was a little disappointing on his Ffos Las debut when a well-beaten third but could well be a different proposition on better ground but VINNIE MY BOY really impressed when scoring here last month and is taken to concede 7lb to the Curtis charge. It would be no surprise to see him progress again, whilst Benefit Cut looks most interesting of the newcomers.
The well-bred Blanchland Abbey could be a different proposition away from the mud, but Vinnie My Boy got the job done nicely in a tongue strap over this C&D last month and looks the logical choice to follow-up under his penalty.
