Trainer says

He ran a perfectly respectable race over hurdles at Newcastle on Friday and will probably go chasing now. We put the cheekpieces on to help him concentrate and he just came up against a nice horse of Nicky Richards’s. I would think chasing is his future.

98-rated hurdler. Qualified for handicaps when finishing fourth, beaten 15 lengths, to Leaumec De Mee in a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield (2m 1f) in December.

Trainer says

We tried him on the flat and he was a bit of a tearaway. We have opted to go over hurdles and he has settled down in the string at home. He has a mark of 98 which will be handy enough for him and we will go up in trip to two and a half miles. We will see how we go.

Trainer says

He is a very exciting horse and we don’t know how good we are. We had an issue with his jumping and he had a bad fall at Huntingdon and broke his elbow but he has come back absolutely 100 per cent. He was second at Wetherby and then went and won a novice at Market Rasen and we think a lot of him. He will probably go for a normal novice first to gain a bit more experience before we look to step him up in grade.

We can put line through his last run at Wetherby and he is not one normally to have an off day. He does want the ground a bit softer than it was so we are freshening him up and he will go back to Wetherby on Boxing Day.

He was waiting for a bit of proper soft ground and we have run him a couple of times. He is fresh and ready to go but he wants three miles on proper soft ground and then we will go close with him.

Trainer says

He is a progressive novice and he was a bit of a big weak baby last year and we took our time with him. He has strengthened up and his best run was his last one at Newcastle. It was a good race and he didn’t look out of place and he is going to get a trip. He is rated 103 which is a fair mark.

Winner of a novices’ handicap chase at Sedgefield (2m 3f) on his reappearance in November when beating Fierce Warrior two and a quarter lengths off a mark of 87 and followed up with a four and three quarter length success from Athair Mor under a 7lb penalty in a similar event at Newcastle (2m 4f) eight days later. Finished runner-up, beaten three quarters of a lengths, to Hitthehayson when bidding to complete the hat trick in a handicap chase at Haydock (2m 4f) this month off a mark of 101.

Trainer says

He seemed to be screaming out for a fences and he was unlucky not to win at Haydock when trying to make it three on the bounce. We think we are going to remain competitive over two and a half and when we’ve had enough of that we will go over three miles and go again.

122-rated hurdler. Off the mark with a length and a quarter win from Uptown Dandy in a novices’ hurdle at Wetherby (2m 3f) in November and subsequently fourth, beaten nine and a half lengths, to Zanndabad in the “Frenze Furze” Novices’ Hurdle at Newcastle (2m 6f) later that month.

Trainer says

He is a very nice horse and as good a horse as we have in the yard. By Getaway out of a nice mare, he won his novice and then ran a good race in the French Furze at Newcastle. Chasing is going to be his long-term plan and we are not going anywhere until after Christmas with him as he’s had a couple of quick runs. He is going places for sure and we will hurdle for the rest of the season.

Trainer says

He keeps on improving all the time and seems to have improved for a palate fire (wind-op) at the start of the season. He is a gritty horse and he doesn’t give in and we will try and find the right races for him.

He is another one who had been crying out for a fence and ultimately he will be a three miler. His plan will be to go for the Tommy Whittle at Haydock.

He is the most unlucky horse in the yard and keeps finishing second or thereabouts. He will win and once he gets his head in front he will improve. He is ground dependent and he can’t go on soft ground - he needs good ground.

She is improving and we ran her in a nice race at Aintree and the ground was too soft for and she couldn’t just quicken off it. She won at Catterick and then ran another good race when third to Romeo Brown at Doncaster on Saturday.

102-rated hurdler. Probably best effort in three runs over hurdles when third, beaten nine and three quarter lengths, to Amancio in a novice at Sedgefield (2m 1f) in November.

Trainer says

He is probably the best jumper in the yard and whenever he goes chasing and whenever ready, he will do well over fences. He is ground dependent and anything worse than good to soft we ought to be leaving him on the wagon.

Winner of his two completed starts this season beating Ribeye four lengths in a handicap chase at Wetherby (3m) on his reappearance at the start of November off a mark of 115 and topping that effort when beating Deafening Silence 15 lengths in the valuable Rehearsal Handicap Chase at Newcastle (2m 7f) at the end of the month off a mark of 126.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse and we still have no idea how good he is. We keep upping him in class and he keeps on improving. It’s not just winning but how good he is winning and he gets more confidence every time he runs. He unseated Danny at Haydock and I think he would have won but if he had we might not have gone to Newcastle for the Rehearsal Chase. He goes for the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby on Boxing Day.

Trainer says

The old yardstick is in great form and he is new after changing yards. He was at Tjade Collier’s but Chad has joined us with him and he ran a grand race at Newcastle on Saturday. If we placing him right he will soon get his head in front.

She is a progressive three-year-old filly and we are not going to over race her this season. She is some chaser in the making!

She will probably go straight chasing now and she is a game mare. She will be a front running, soft ground, northern mare to go in these mares’ chases.

He is another unlucky not to win a race and he will go to Catterick on Tuesday. He is a two and a half miler and also a bit ground dependent.

137-rated chaser. Returned to winning form in the London National at Sandown (3m 4f) this month when scoring by three and three quarter lengths from Hung Jury off a mark of 132.

Trainer says

He is flying the yard flag at the minute and he will go for the Welsh National. He was tough at Sandown and I think we have him the best we’ve ever had him. He is still improving as he was lightly raced as a young horse and I can’t wait to run him in the Welsh National.

He is a nice chaser and he will keep improving over a fence. He was quite weak as young horse but he is strengthening up nicely. He jumps class and he will keep improving.

He had a wind op at the start of the season and has thanked us for it. He was third at Wetherby first time out and the form worked out very well. Then he went to Newbury and finished third in a good race. He will go to Aintree on Boxing Day for a two and a half mile 0-150.

102-rated hurdler. Ended a long losing sequence when beating Sunshine Diamond 27 lengths in a handicap hurdle at Doncaster (3m) in November off a mark of 96. Followed up with a length and a quarter success from Breezethroughlife over the same course and distance on Saturday.

Trainer says

He is one of those that probably should retire but still has enthusiasm for the job and has delighted us winning his last two starts. I would think this would be his last season.

106-rated hurdler. Came closest to victory in three runs over hurdles this season when runner-up, beaten a length and a half, to Moonbow in a maiden hurdle at Hexham (2m 4f) in June.

He’s a nice horse and he injured himself in a box at home. He just strained a hock - it was nothing major but he just needs another month at home.

He is one for the future I think and he will be a staying chaser in the making. All he does is gallop and he probably bumped into one at Wetherby. He is a nice young horse and we are not going to overdo him this season.

You never know what you are going to get with him and he either he turns up or doesn’t. If the race unfolds properly in front of him then you’re in luck. He has all the talent in the world but can be a bit of a character.

Trainer says

He is a proper staying chaser and he jumps very well. I’m not exactly sure where we go next and he could go somewhere after Christmas but we might be tempted by the Lincolnshire National with him but it would have to be soft ground and he is another one we can’t wait to run.
