A 142-rated chaser, he won a handicap chase at Leopardstown’s Christmas meeting and finished a close third in the Barberstown Castle Handicap Chase at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Trainer says

He only has the one entry at Cheltenham and that’s in the Grand Annual. Better ground will be a help to him, as he found it soft enough at the Dublin Racing Festival. He might have got there a bit too soon that day too, so there are reasons to think that he can do better when things are right for him.

Trainer says

He’ll go for the Grand Annual. It is obviously a drop in trip for him, but he has plenty of pace and jumps quick, so I think he’ll cope with it. He found the ground a bit softer than ideal last time and I think we haven’t seen the best of him.

We have her entered in the Mares’ Chase and the Plate, but she’s very ground dependent and will need soft ground before we consider sending her. With that in mind, it will be a late decision.

He’ll run in the cross-country chase. He’d love the ground to dry out, as it was softer than ideal for him at Cheltenham last time. He has been enjoying these races, and I could see him running well.

A 159-rated chaser, he won the Kerry National at Listowel in September 2024 prior to being ruled out for the rest of the season through injury. He made his return when last of four in a Grade 2 chase at Cheltenham in January.

Trainer says

He’s likely to run in the Stayers’ Hurdle. The plan is to go on to the Grand National and we feel he’ll benefit from another run before then, so the Stayers’ Hurdle would seem as good a place as any given that we know he really enjoys the test of the race.

A 147-rated hurdler, he has won two of his six starts over hurdles including a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown’s Christmas meeting and the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival last season.

Trainer says

He’s one for the County Hurdle. This is always a difficult season for top juveniles, but he’s a Grade 1 winner back in a handicap and hopefully he can show his class. He’ll have plenty of weight, but the style of race should suit him.

A 172-rated chaser, he has won three of his 13 starts over fences including the Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in 2024 and the Gold Cup back at that meeting last season.

Trainer says

He has been very disappointing so far this season, but he’s come out of Leopardstown well and I feel that he’s starting to improve. Now, he obviously needs to improve an awful lot to get back to where he was, but he’s starting to go the right way. We are looking for encouragement and the fact that he lit up so well at the Cheltenham Festival both times he’s been there would give you hope. We’ll get him to the Gold Cup in the very best form we can and hope that he steps up on the day.

Trainer says

He’s a horse we like and is going for the Triumph Hurdle. He’s still a maiden, but he has twice run well in Graded hurdles. Ridden closer to the pace, he could well show up well at a big price.

Trainer says

He doesn’t have an entry at Cheltenham at the minute, but we’re going to keep a close eye on the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase. If it was such a thing that it came up soft, we could well supplement him for that. We’ve entered him in the Grand National and that’s on our mind. We want to get another run into him before then and it’ll just be a case of picking out spot for that.

Trainer says

He’s going straight to the Fred Winter. He’s still a maiden over hurdles, but he’s been knocking on the door. He’s the right type for the race as he travels well and is a good jumper, so he should give himself a chance to be competitive. I think he could run well.

Trainer says

She’ll go for the Mares’ Chase. She has to prove her stamina for the trip, but I think she will. Ideally the ground will be on the better side so that the emphasis isn’t so much on stamina. She ran huge at the Cheltenham Festival last year and if we can get her there in the same form, we’ll be delighted.

The Grand National is his main target. We’ll run him somewhere before then, but it won’t be at Cheltenham.

Rated 74 on the Flat, he has won one of his three starts over hurdles and most recently finished a close fourth in a Listed juvenile hurdle at Musselburgh.

Trainer says

The Fred Winter is his aim. He ran well and caught the eye at Musselburgh, but he will need to sharpen up for it. He really disappointed us at Cheltenham in November, and it took him a fair while to get over it. We felt that he was only starting to come back to himself at Musselburgh and he’ll need to keep improving, but he could well do.

We have entered her in the County Hurdle, but she’s not sure to go. We have her in the Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso as well and she could go there.

He’s going straight to the cross-country chase, and all has gone smooth. We contemplated giving him a prep run, but we are happy that he goes well enough fresh to go straight there. We’d be welcoming rain for him as he handles soft ground, stays the trip well and is tough. Sure look, he’s going to be up at the top end of the market, and he deserves to be there.

We have him in a couple of handicap hurdles and will wait to see what the handicapper does. We’ll also keep a close eye on the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, as we wouldn’t rule out supplementing him for that.

He’ll go for the cross-country chase again and we were delighted with his win at Punchestown last time. He’s in great form and his luck has deserted him on a few big days in the past, so he’s due a good run of the green.

He has a couple of entries in handicap chases, and we’ll have a closer look when the weights come out, but we’d like to run him there.

Trainer says

He’s going to go for the Pertemps Final. We’ll see how tough the British handicapper is on him, but the race looks likely to suit him. We have him in the Grand National, but I’d say the Irish Grand National is a likelier target.
