Gary Moore passed the million-pound prize money barrier for the first time in the 2021-22 Jumps season with his 91 winners netting £1,151,009 and he looks well on the way to achieving that feat once more.
The Cisswood Stables trainer has already reached £409,985 this term from 23 winners and Botox Has (£71,188) and Goshen (£56,950) have made major contributions with their, respective successes in the Grade 3 Betfair Exchange Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle at Haydock and the Grade 2 Coral Hurdle at Ascot on the same afternoon in November.
That pair look sure to have further money-spinning days, but he has plenty of untapped horses to go to war with and possibly none more exciting that Authorised Speed who toyed with the opposition on his recent hurdling debut at Lingfield.
