Emma Lavelle is enjoying a fruitful campaign, with a recent win for Royal Rambler taking her tally to 34 for the season - only three short of her 2023-24 total of 37.
The Ogbourne Maizey trainer has enjoyed lucrative successes with the likes of Hang In There, General Medrano, Tightenourbelts, Porter In The Park, Classic King, Guard Duty and Ma Shantou, while there has also been plenty more supporting roles from some of her other inmates.
Guard Duty looked a horse with plenty more to offer when given a peach of a ride by Gavin Sheehan at Windsor during Winter Million weekend, while Royal Rambler looks a horse to side with moving forward after confirming the promise of his solid third behind subsequent winners Sixmilebridge and Sole Solution when coming good at Chepstow last Sunday.
There are plenty more in her team that should take the trainer past her personal best of 42 winners during the 2020-21 season, and she kindly talked to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about her main prospects for the remainder of the season.
