STONEHALL JACK sets the standard on his recent efforts in handicap company and should take all of the beating if running up to that level of form now dropped back in trip on his return to the maiden ranks. Gotham City is entitled to build on his debut effort at Wincanton now under the watchful eye of Tony Martin and is worth monitoring in the betting on his return from a break. The pick of the remainder may be Slygufftou, who has place claims on his Tramore fourth in May.

Halling's Treasure looked held when falling three out at Wexford on Saturday and needs to raise his game if he's to finish on the premises on the back of a quick turnaround. Of more interest are Dessie Hughes' representative Mordanmijobsworth, who may improve for the fitting of a first-time tongue-tie, and BANKER BURKE. A winner on the level, John Larkin's charge shaped with promise when third on his hurdles bow at Downpatrick and is entitled to come on for that run.

Watch out for: Mordanmijobsworth (3)

DRACO opened his account over timber at Bellewstown in August and has backed that effort up with creditable performances at Galway and in Grade 3 company since. He represents last year's winning stable and sets a clear form standard for the other pair to aim at. The Herds Garden made his hurdles bow a winning one at Fairyhouse and is the principal threat ahead of Mysticaltou, who was well held off a mark of 112 in handicap company at Cork recently.

Top Tip: Draco (1)
Watch out for: The Herds Garden (2)

Draco sets the standard but this trip was barely adequate when fifth at Tipperary 3 weeks ago and he may prove vulnerable to The Herds Garden, who didn't lack for speed when making a winning start over hurdles at Fairyhouse.

TOP CAT HENRY broke his maiden over track and trip last year and is of interest having bounced back from a couple of wayward efforts with a creditable second off 1lb lower at Punchestown. War Of The Pennys was touched off by just a short head off this mark over the extended 2m3f at Kilbeggan last month so seems weighted to finish on the premises. A big run from dropped-in-trip Tipperary second Bank Bonus could also be on the cards.

Thomond has been holding his form well in the latter half of this year and warrants respect after his easy victory at Listowel. It is possible he, like Seefood, will improve for this stiffer test and take a hand in the finish. The one to beat, however, is Gordon Elliott inmate BONISLAND, who was third in Grade 2 company over timber and is entitled to build on his chasing debut victory at Punchestown on this return from a year-long break.

Crown Theatre failed to justify co-favouritism when fourth on his chase bow at Perth but his confidence may have boosted by a recent victory over timber and he's worth a market check now moving back over fences. Nevertheless, DARWINS THEORY gets the verdict as he's fitted with first-time blinkers and is expected to improve on his third over a slightly longer trip at Downpatrick. Ballinrobe third The Mooch looks best of the rest.

BAY SLY has rattled the crossbar the last twice, including when getting to within three and a quarter lengths of the unbeaten Daring Carlotta at Listowel, so he is the one to side with. Westerner Point makes his debut under Rules after some promising performances between the flags, most notably when finishing second to subsequent 200,000-pound purchase Scorpiancer, who has since finished second in a Ffos Las bumper for Rebecca Curtis. War And Contrition wasn't disgraced at Cork on debut and appears the best of the rest.
