ORTOLAN BLEU was well beaten in second spot behind the useful Fair Along on his hurdling debut last month, but that was still a good introduction and he can go one better this afternoon. Fixateur was a useful flat performer and is sure to have benefited from a decent first effort behind Shiny Thing at Doncaster. Dan's Heir is the only winner in the field, but a penalty for that victory will not aid his cause in this good little race.

Tees Components was also a very good hurdler, and is sure to be winning over fences in the near future. Flat winner SPECTESTED showed plenty of promise on his return to timber at Wetherby last month, and it would be no surprise to see him successful on his handicap debut. That's Racing put in his best effort to date at Kelso last time, and looks sure to be in the thick of things today.
