SOUNDS OF THUNDER has to give 9lb to all of her rivals but arrives here in good heart and will relish the fast ground. Gordon Elliott's filly was caught near the line when finishing a head second at Wexford last time, however, the switch back to hurdling and the return to this longer trip boosts her chances of gaining compensation. Landenstown Pearl remains capable of better over timber and looks the one for the forecast. Searree appeals most of the remainder.
Sounds of Thunder has plenty of speed but there doesn't look to be anything good enough to stretch her stamina and it'll be a major surprise if she doesn't complete the hat-trick. Landenstown Pearl is the only other one of the sextet to have any worthwhile form to her name.

Lawgiver usually gives his supporters a good run for their money here but may ideally prefer slightly slower ground and O'CALLAGHAN STRAND looks the one to be on. Jonjo O'Neill's sole runner on the card looks well treated under a penalty after his recent Worcester success and remains capable of better in the handicap ranks.
O'Callaghan Strand looks to have more to give and can follow up his win last week under similar conditions. Ballagio is another potential improver and can give him most to do, San Deng appealing most of the rest.

OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL shaped very encouragingly on his chase debut when beaten by under a length at Market Rasen last time and a 4lb rise in the weights is unlikely to prevent another bold bid now he is stepped up in trip. Last time out winners Ginger's Lad and Bob Will are two others to consider, the biggest danger is likely to be posed by the latter, who hinted he'd be suited by this longer trip when scoring over an extended 2m4f here last time.
A few in-form rivals clash here, but it's perhaps worth siding with Tim Vaughan's Our Guardian Angel who went down only narrowly despite not jumping with much fluency on her recent chasing debut and will take a bit of stopping with a more polished round. Bob Will is another who comes here at the top of his game and could be the one for the forecast.

SIMPLY SMASHING dipped into hunters' chase company to bully his rivals into submission for a double at Sedgefield last time and, assuming he transfers his chase ability to hurdling, he is expected to take all of the beating on these terms tonight. Eimears Oscar has winning form between the flags and is likely to have been well schooled ahead of his hurdling debut here, while Andy Vic turned in his best effort to date at Sedgefield last time and also merits consideration.
Hard to put a figure on what Eimears Oscar is capable of, but runners from her yard are always to be taken seriously here, and she looks the chief threat to Simply Smashing, who will be hard to beat if translating chase form back to hurdles.

However, the vote goes to SILVER ADONIS, who had Harmony Brig behind when finishing fourth in a hunters' chase at Cheltenham in May and, earlier in the season, had finished a credible seventh in the big hunters' event at Aintree. Father Murtagh has been sharpened up by several runs in point-to-points and is also shortlisted.
With Finney far from convincing in points, and Silver Adonis having spurned a couple of golden opportunities of late, this is best left to last year's winner Bow School, provided a recent fall over hurdles hasn't dented his confidence.

Hi Ho Silvia has unseated her rider on both of her last two runs and remains a risky proposition, but she does have C&D winning form and remains feasibly weighted. A safer alternative looks to be GLAN LADY, who scored with ease at Hereford in April and can be excused her subsequent run, which may have arrived a little too quickly. Back To Paris is another to consider with Philip Kirby recently amongst the winners.
