CAYMAN ISLANDS was no match for the mightily impressive God's Own at Musselburgh last time but his previous success over this trip, which also came at the the Scottish venue, is the strongest piece of form on offer here and he should prove a tough nut to crack. Clowance House was a winner of a maiden hurdle here back in the summer and might have more to offer, while bumper winner Your Tepee Or Mine debuts over timber today and must be respected.

His overall form has been solid in the past few months and he looks the most solid option. Dropped in class, Prince Pippin could be interesting and the jockey booking is definitely a plus, while Crack At Dawn has to be noted making his first start for 453 days having last been seen scoring at Southwell.

However, at this stage, the most solid option looks to be PENSNETT BAY, who has been in really good form recently despite proving no match for the classy Pete The Feat at Lingfield. Topaze Collonges struggled at Leicester last time but his previous form was very good and he is another worth considering in a tricky event to weigh up.

HAZY BAY has been knocking hard on the door of late and although he doesn't appear thrown in now, having last been successful off a mark of 92, he is clearly consistent and the booking of 3lb claimer Jeremiah McGrath certainly looks a wise move. Recent Taunton winner Tarabela merits obvious respect but she is up 9lb now, while the likes of Duneen Point and Nouailhas needs to step up a little.

Watch out for: Tarabela (4)

Musical Wedge is the form horse following a string of solid recent displays but BADGERS COVE wasn't at all disgraced when chasing home Sydney Paget at Towcester last time and he can go one better this time around.
