UPSIE landed two French bumpers in 2011 and she is a fascinating contender making her hurdling debut for Willie Mullins this afternoon. She gets the verdict over Aerlite Supreme, who makes his hurdling debut following three solid efforts in bumpers. Dave's Stamper, a point-to-point winner last year, was not disgraced on his hurdles debut at Punchestown earlier this month and he has place prospects.

Watch out for: Aerlite Supreme (1)

Upsie holds no big-race entries, and is returning from a lengthy absence, but is still hard to oppose in a race short on quality. Aerlite Supreme is respected on bumper form, and is a better bet for the forecast spot than the quirky To The Sky, for whom eyeshields and a tongue tie look something of a gamble.

Willie Mullins' representative has a real touch of class and he should have little difficulty putting these rivals to the sword. Whodoyouthink was well beaten over hurdles last time but his best chase form would probably make him the main danger to the selection. That said, the unexposed Sweeney Tunes could also make his presence felt.

Don Cossack had to settle for second best behind Mozoltov in a Grade 2 contest at Punchestown earlier this month but that form still gives him major claims. Annie Power is unbeaten after three runs in bumpers and two over hurdles and this is the acid test for her. It would be no surprise to see her come through with flying colours. Moscow Mannon also merits the utmost respect but DEFY LOGIC edges the verdict. He was most impressive when making a winning hurdles debut at Fairyhouse and although this is much tougher, he could be up to the challenge.

SHERIKA slammed her rivals at Thurles last month and can go from strength to strength off this 10lb higher mark. The daughter of Beneficial is expected to show more improvement going up to 3m and it would come as no surprise to see her maintain the winning thread. Free To Dream shoulders top weight but the booking of Davy Russell suggests connections are confident they've found him a winning opportunity, while Unoccupied gets in under a nice weight and he got the better of the in-form Twin Plan last time out.
