Verdict

PROUD PATRIOT found only one too good when beaten comfortably last time out, but had today's rival Pete behind him then. He also accounted for Koenigsleiten when filling the places twice before then so he has proven he can beat some of these and looks the most likely to get off the mark. Desert Motel is the most interesting newcomer and deserves a market check.
