A creditable Wolverhampton third latest suggests his turn is near. Slatey Hen and Bird Dog are suggested for the minor money in a race that won't take much winning.

General Tufto is rarely far away at this venue but preference is for ACE MASTER, who is open to more improvement than the first-named on this surface and advertised his well-being when scoring over this track and trip last month. The re-opposing Arkaim (second) reopposes on 2lb better terms and is entitled to be thereabouts, as is Hilbre Court, who has work to do with the selection on his latest running but catches the eye with William Carson taking over in the saddle.
Ace Master got the better of Arkaim over this C&D and can confirm the form despite the revised weights. So Is She looks the biggest danger to the pair.

NEWPORT ARCH wasn't fazed by a step up in trip when finishing second over 1m2f here last month and John Quinn's charge, beaten by less than a length that day, is expected to gain compensation, over this slightly shorter trip, despite a 4lb rise in the ratings. Hunters Belt has been kept fit over hurdles and is respected on his return to the Flat now partnered with Barry McHugh, who grabbed a double here last week. Arizona High looks best of the rest but still remains a Flat maiden after six runs on the level.
Corvette has yet to win a race, but she shaped well on fibresand debut over an inadequate trip on her first run for this yard and may be worth chancing. Newport Arch and Magic Millie, closely matched on their running here last month, are others to consider.

Roy Bowring's charge benefitted from the return to this trip when second over C&D latest and, now eased 1lb in the ratings, a big runs looks on the cards. Overrule, representing the shrewd Brian Ellison, looks best of the rest.
Ay Tay Tate was ostensibly disappointing last time, but he should be able to dominate this weaker field now dropped to a more suitable trip. With Overrule having something to prove at present, it may be Flying Applause who chases the selection home.

Former Ed McMahon inmate Verbeeck went backwards last year and changed hands for 7,000 euros in September so the vote goes to ISHIAMIRACLE, who opened her account in a 5f maiden here last month and looks on a fair mark if capable of reproducing that form over this longer trip. Wicked Wench is another fibresand winner that needs to prove he stays this extra furlong, but both are preferred ahead of Key Ambition and One More Roman, who both stay this trip but lack form on this surface.
Ishiamiracle looked a different proposition dropped back to sprinting here last time and can follow up returned to handicap company. Wicked Wench is her only rival proven on fibresand and looks the biggest danger.

Dancing Freddy continues to acquit himself well on this surface and deserves to find a race soon. He was subject to late support when third to Ghostwing here last week, a race in which the 5f course record was smashed (assisted by a tailwind). The step up to this longer trip entitles Richard Guest's representative to go close if a wide draw proves no hindrance, but of more interest is LA CAPRIOSA. The former Dandy Nicholls' inmate has dropped to a good mark and with new handler Scott Dixon having made an outstanding start to his training career, a bold bid looks assured from an inside draw. Pivotal filly DA'QUONDE couldn't have taken to this surface any better when scoring over C&D in maiden company last month and is capable of defying a mark of 52 now switched to handicaps. Takajan is well-treated on the pick of his form but, like Gorgeous Goblin and Prince Of Vasa, is stranded out in a wide stall so a bigger threat may turn out to be Beachwood Bay, who landed a classified stakes race over C&D here when last sighted.
Da'quonde and Beachwood Bay both struck here last time and are unexposed. They look to have this between them, preference just going to Bryan Smart's charge. Takajan is one of a few who have dropped markedly in the weights and could pop up at some stage.
