In a wide-open contest, preference is for LINK SUANCES, twice just pipped in similar contests recently and taken to score now he's stepped up in trip. Not For Sale and Wolfcamp can fight out the minor honours.
This should go the way of SERENE QUEEN, a cosy winner of a $5k claimer over C&D last time out. This is a little tougher but she scored with enough in hand to suggest she can follow up. School Play landed a $5k claimer at Penn two starts ago and is the one for the exacta, although Oh Mandie won't be too far away.
After landing a $15k maiden claimer at Keeneland, ALLEN'S STAR failed by a nose to pick up a similar contest to this over a route here. With further improvement expected, he can score tonight. Cold Precision, Lewahdizaniwho and Bellhouse can fight out the minor honours.
Dreaming Of Rose is respected now eased in grade but a safer alternative appears to be SWEET YULIANNA, who was outpaced over the extended 5f latest and is taken to build upon that effort over this longer trip. Taking A Chance looks best of the rest.
ROCK SOLID ARCH was touched off into second over the extended 6f here latest, weakening close home, and is taken to go one better now tackling this shorter trip. This Buds For Us and Chief Dispute make most appeal of the remainder.
LAST EMPIRE seems to be coming back to the boil judging by a string of consistent efforts in defeat of late and the drop back to 7f could prove the catalyst for a fourth career success. Count The Gold and Surprise Storm can battle it out for the minor placings.
VILLAS STORM showed an eyecatching turn of foot to get up over 6f here in October and, in a similar race race over the extended trip, he is likely to be winning again. De La Warr and Certifiable complete the shortlist.
OFFICER BIG RED has thrived since joining the Ramon Preciado barn (four wins from five) and is taken to add to her tally now dropped back to the extended 5f. She had Hard Rock Candy behind two starts ago and, while she should confirm that form, it would be dangerous to completely rule out Steph's Bullet.
The lightly-raced CELTIC PRIDE looks the most likely of these maidens and, with improvement forthcoming, the son of Giant's Causeway is expected to be good enough against many exposed types. Of those, Magical Dreamer and Spanish Kitten make most appeal.
