TEN DOWNING STREET has been found a good opportunity to open his account at the fourth attempt. Improving with each outing, he chased home a useful looking type here last week, suggesting he can go one better today. Stratham has been placed in three of his fours races to date, putting in a solid effort in a decent race on the polytrack last time. Categorical is sure to improve for his debut effort at Doncaster two weeks ago. n

LATE ARRIVAL had the favourite Sun Hill well beaten in third place when winning a claimer over today's C&D at the last meeting. He seems to have found a good deal of improvement recently and could be one to follow in handicaps over the coming weeks. Considine may pose the biggest threat to the selection. He found Best Port just too strong at Catterick last week, with another of today's rivals Spitting Image well behind.

It is hard to look beyond recent Thirsk runner-up PATRONAGE in this very weak looking maiden. That race was a handicap where he had to give weight to the useful winner Rosecliff, and will meet nothing of that calibre today. Yazaar has been well beaten in two good class races this year but improvement is likely, whilst expensive purchase Rockpiler can do no worse than he did in two outings as a juvenile.

TROJAN FLIGHT just got the better of Mandarin Spirit at Catterick three weeks ago, his second victory this term. A previous winner over this C&D he is a model of consistency and looks certain to run well once again. Queen's Lodge sprang a 33/1 surprise at Doncaster on her return from a long absence and this lightly raced mare looks sure to improve further. Bond Boy bounced back to form last time and can win again if staying sound.

JUBILEE STREET has hit a rich vein of form recently, winning twice, and it could have been three if not for an unlucky second at Beverley last time. Hopefully he can make amends this afternoon. A winner over hurdles during the winter, Mount Vettore has shown enough in his recent flat outings to suggest he can win a race of this nature. Thistle returned to the flat with a respectable effort behind Les Arcs, and today's extra furlong should suit.

SOL ROJO can make a winning debut for new connections after being bought out of a Wolverhampton seller in April. He had more than one previous winner behind on that occasion and is likely to improve further. William Tell has not cut much ice since landing his maiden success, but may do better now he is dropped in grade. BLUEBOK put in his best effort to date when just held by Fromsong over this trip at Salisbury last time.
