Girl Gone West has the best figures on offer and is a solid prospect after finishing in the first three on each of her last six outings. She could well recoup the losses incurred when she was a beaten favourite last time but THE INDIVIDUALIST is just preferred. Runner-up in a similar event last time, his form has been franked by the subsequent win of the third place. Fathom Drive made virtually all to score by a nose last time and is worth noting along with Keith Can Score.
A modest maiden in which none of the form principals - Squeeze Through, Straight Lemonade or Unregrettable - can be completely trusted. The first-named drops in class today and looks set to go well but he's yet to race over a route and a chance is taken on newcomer BEE BERRY. Trainer Dario Vasquez has his team in good order and is more than capable of having them ready first time out so a good run is expected.
Vulnerability and Stooge Lover hold sound enough claims on recent form, although the latter has a bit to find with Yasie who was third last time. Bonus Royal tends to go close in this company and can do so once again but REASONTOFLY takes a drop in class after finishing third here latest and has the assistance of Harold Vega in the plate today.
Granite Ridge steps up in class following a comfortable win over a half-furlong less here last time and is fancied to go well but BRENDAN MAC looks a better option. Chasing a hat trick following a couple of wins at this track, he's in excellent order at present and is unlikely to be far from the action. Actual Illusion looks best of the remainder.
MIMI'S SEVEN is in terrific form and can't be opposed here. She's won three of her last ten starts and has only finished outside the first three once. He last win, over five and a half furlongs here, was against tougher company and she should prove too good today. Formal Fanny, Regal Lexie and Madera Canyon all won last time out and should fight out the minor honours.
WHAT'S YOUR WISH remains in fine form and won easily over an extended mile here last time. He boasts a string of speed figures that none of today's rivals can match and will take all the beating. Shepherdsville is another in good heart and he should confirm recent form with Real Town Guy and Blame It On Beau here.
Arlington Hall ended last year in fine form here but no wins in six starts over today's trip does not boost confidence and WAYWARD WILL gets the nod. He's been running well for Ramon Preciado's in-form barn and is well worth another try over a route. Regal Kawana won over a mile and one sixteenth here last time and can finish in the money in this better grade.
Wamp will have his supporters shipping in from Aquaduct for Tony Dutrow and is capable of going very close if producing his best. Sand Kicker is upped in class after winning over track and trip last time but preference is for HANSELLO. Mike Pino's charge attempted to wire the field on his recent return from a lengthy lay-off before running out of steam and he'll strip fitter here.
GOLD STONES has beaten Red Hot Lover and Giovanna Gold recently and won on her only start over today's distance. Robert Seegar's filly is taken to improve further and get the better of these rivals. Premise could prove the best of the remainder stepping back up to a route trip after a couple of lacklustre efforts in sprints.
Tomo is the fastest of these on dirt but has been well beaten on his last five starts in similar and needs to improve. Chessboard wasn't too far away in third last time and wouldn't need to improve much but this is a poor contest that won't take too much winning and the newcomer HARRY'S BEST might provide the answer. Well bred and related to a string of winners, he looked sharp working out over 4f this week and could well prove good enough here.
