Verdict

NEXT PAGE didn't seem to see out the extended mile here last time in a similar contest but had twice finished second over the exact mile before that. Dropped in trip tonight, he can open his account at the ninth time of asking. Corundum takes a big drop in class and could prove the danger but Alpha Red and Lviv are others to consider.

Verdict

In a wide-open contest, preference is for LADY'S TALE. After landing a $75k maiden claimer at Monmouth in the summer, she has performed with credit in better company and can get back to winning ways dropped to this level. Clipper Fan and Belle Of The Nile are in good form and can fight out the minor honours.

Verdict

MACHO TASTE made a bold bid over 6f here on his debut this month, only giving way close home. Dropped a furlong in trip tonight, he can go one better. Criming Out Loud also went well on his debut here and could go close but the more experienced Sergeant Ski makes more appeal for the exacta.
