UNLEASHED has improved rapidly this season and took The Madjani Stakes here in December before an impressive success in the second round of this series last time. The six-year-old dominated his rivals from the front that day and has a strong chance of another victory from stall two here. Kanaille De Faust chased home the selection last time and could repeat that achievement, although Tariq is unexposed and must not be discounted. Those looking for an each-way alternative should consider Djafar and Rajeh.

It is very hard to oppose MOUNTAIN BREEZE, who made the frame in some top-class juvenile contests in the UK last year. The daughter of Lope De Vega confirmed her well-being with an easy success in the Mawj Stakes over 7f here in January and she should prove to be a class above. Octans was second that day and may chase home the selection once again, although she is unproven over this far. The only other one with valid form claims is Lhakpa.
It's nigh on impossible to get away from MOUNTAIN BREEZE, who bolted up in the Mawj Stakes here just over 4 weeks ago and she can get Super Saturday off to the best possible start for the Charlie Appleby/Godolphin team. Lhakpa and Octans were both left trailing in the selection's wake last time and they're expected to fill out second and third once again but in a different order.

Cagliostro sets the standard following his narrow defeat in the Firebreak over C&D in January and a repeat of that performance would see him go well. However, the strength of that form can be questioned and marginal preference is for T O SAINT DENIS. Stall nine for the Japanese raider is not ideal, but he had the early pace to lead the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile field in November and ended up finishing a place in front of Cagliostro, albeit well beaten. If Oisin Murphy can get him to the lead, the six-year-old could be hard to catch. With a field of 16 a good trip will be vital here, and as a result Sound Money and Oasis Boy could end up outrunning their likely prices.
CAGLIOSTRO surpassed his previous form when third in Group 3 company starting out for a new yard a month ago and a repeat of that level may well suffice. Local Dynasty is high up there among the rest, while Saleymm is also of interest assuming stall 15 doesn't present a problem.

He has won three times at 5f on good ground and on the all-weather. A winner over this course and distance (good) in January, beating Ponntos by 3 1/2l.
West Acre took a big step forwards when easily taking the Blue Point over C&D five weeks ago and George Scott's gelding has to be of interest on the back of that performance. Ponntos was second that day and is another with strong form claims as he is 4lb better off with the three-year-old. That said, preference is for FROST AT DAWN, who showed blazing speed when taking this contest 12 months ago. Her form subsequently has been mixed, but it would be no surprise to see William Knight's filly bounce back to form with a good draw here. Dark Saffron looks sets to relish this drop in trip as he has been catching the eye over 6f of late, while Power Mode should not be underestimated despite this big step up in grade.
George Scott's WEST ACRE is a sprinter on the up and looks the way to go in his bid for a fourth victory from six starts. C&D winner Ponntos could emerge as the main threat, while Danyah, Bombay Bazaar and Tawalla can all have a say too.

Nations Pride is the obvious starting point in this contest and Charlie Appleby's six-year-old should be too be good for these if anywhere near his best. However, he's been very disappointing the last twice and preference is for stablemate FIRST CONQUEST. The gelded son of Teofilo appeared to have plenty in hand when winning the Dubai Millennium over 1m2f here last time and he may still have more to offer. Cairo was second to the selection on that occasion and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Holloway Boy is another with valid form claims.
NATIONS PRIDE disappointed on his return from a 10-week break in the Pegasus World Cup Turf at Gulfstream, but will surely prove hard to beat if bouncing back to something like his best and gets the nod over his stablemate First Conquest, who impressed when overcoming a positional bias in the Dubai Millennium Stakes here on his most recent outing. Holloway Boy warrants respect, also.

Imperial Emperor sets the standard following his second in the Al Maktoum Challenge here last time but stall 15 is far from ideal for the five-year-old. One who may be underestimated is ARTORIUS, who may improve now stepped up in trip and his most recent efforts in the Al Maktoum Mile and Firebreak suggest that he can go well in a race of this nature. Guns And Glory bolted up in a much weaker race over 1m3f here last time and would be dangerous if allowed to dominate from a fair draw. King Gold beat the selection in the Firebreak but is unproven over this far and the pace meltdown that day massively helped him. Qareeb has a solid chance and is likely to be in the mix, while it is too soon to be writing off Kabirkhan.
IMPERIAL EMPEROR has done really well since switched to the dirt here for new connections and is taken to go one better than in the Group 1 Al Maktoum Challenge over a slightly shorter trip in January. The Group 3 Firebreak was teed up nicely for King Gold last time but he's still feared most ahead of Majestic Pride, who was nearest at the finish in the Jebel Ali Mile last month and should prove suited by this longer trip.

Charlie Appleby's pair standout here and the booking of William Buick suggests that SILVER KNOTT is the one to side with. The son of Lope De Vega has been US based the last couple of seasons and won multiple Grade 2 events there last year. He has subsequently struggled in Grade 1 company twice but still gets the vote here. Arabian Crown looked to be a top prospect when winning the Zetland at Newmarket as a juvenile and was an impressive winner of the Classic Trial at Sandown on his only start in 2024. Unlike the selection, there could be more to come from the four-year-old and he could upset his stablemate. Highway Robber won a US Grade 3 at Keeneland on his most recent start and is the pick of the remainder on his debut for Charlie Hills.
SILVER KNOTT thrived over middle-distances last year, winning 3 times before appearing to not get home when third on his final start at Aqueduct 5 months ago. He gets the narrow vote to make a winning return under William Buick, with promising stablemate Arabian Crown, who was last seen winning the Classic Trial at Sandown last spring, rating the chief threat. Highway Robber, on debut for Charlie Hills, completes the shortlist.

Tuz has been the best dirt sprinter in the UAE for quite some time now and it would be no surprise to see him add another victory to his record here. However, he did briefly look vulnerable in the Al Shindagha last time and may be worth taking on Bhupat Seemar's gelding at a short price. American Stage is an interesting new rival for a shrewd Japanese trainer and he should not be discounted, although this is a big step up in grade for him. As a result, a chance can taken with DREW'S GOLD, who was third to Tuz last time but that was a performance full of promise on the back of a 517-day break. The son of Violence was Grade 1 placed over 7f in the US back in 2023 and is capable of making the frame if improving on his latest outing. Colour Up is a consistent performer in this type of event and completes the shortlist.
8-y-o TUZ has looked as good as ever upon returning to action, pulling out all the stops to hold off old-rival Colour Up in a C&D Group 3 five weeks ago. He's the one to beat in his bid to make it 6 wins from his last 7 starts. Japanese-runner American Stage progressed well last year and he's fancied to pose a threat in receipt of weight all round. Aforementioned Colour Up and low-mileage El Nasseeb are others in the mix.

Hallasan upset a well-backed stablemate when winning the trial for this contest four weeks ago and it is hard to see him being out of the frame. That said, clear preference is for RULING COURT, who bolted up on his debut over 7f at Sandown in July and was far from disgraced when third in the Acomb at York on his sole subsequent start. That was one of the strongest juveniles races in the UK last year and this son of Justify is likely to be too good for these. The rest look set to fight it out for the minor money at best, but The Fingal Raven is the pick of them.
RULING COURT is a fair way in front of these on form and has the potential for more to come. Hallasan can make it a 1-2 for Charlie Appleby with The Fingal Raven best of the others.
