An interesting race with Blair Perrone and Rich Coast reopposing after they finished fourth and third respectively in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse in April. Blair Perrone went on to be third behind Douvan in the Grade 1 Champion Novice Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival but he may need the run, whereas Rich Coast is fit from the Galway Hurdle and a spin on the Flat last month. SIZING CODELCO is an interesting contender as he wasn't beaten all that far by Clarcam in a novice chase at Navan last December. He also was still going well behind Valseur Lido when falling at Punchestown before that. He ended his season with some respectable runs over hurdles, which has protected his novice status for this season.

FIVE O'CLOCK TEA has been admirably consistent this year and would have gone close at Uttoxeter last time but for blundering two from home. Based on that run, a mark of 95 is workable and it is hard not to see him being involved. Bendala Bleu is another in good form and wasn't beaten all that far in a decent race at Tipperary in April. The Mooch would have a chance based on his good performances in April and May, but he has disappointed twice since. Company Coming is another with a solid chance.

The hat-trick seeking KATIE DO has been in fine form since stepping out of the point-to-point field and the form of her last victory was boosted when the second went on to win at Galway. A rise of 9lb makes life tougher but she still finds herself on a workable mark. Tulsa Jack put his jumping problems behind him when winning at Kilbeggan last month and he followed that up with another good run at the same course a couple of weeks later. Kilford turns up here on the back of a success at Roscommon but that form doesn't look great and an 8lb hike appears stiff. Springbelle can make her presence felt, though.

Plinth and Argentino are closely matched on their run at Killarney last month, when the latter prevailed by a head, but he finds himself 2lb worse off at the weights. Rebel Fitz should make a bold bid to follow up his win in this race last year. He had Ted Veale behind him that day and can confirm the form. He may be vulnerable to an improver, though, and SEA PRIDE is certainly on the upgrade. A rare runner in the NH Flat sphere for her trainer, she managed to finish third in a Listed bumper at the Aintree Festival before dotting up in a decent Flat maiden at Kempton earlier this month.
