DAGGETT had been knocking on the door before getting his head in front over C&D last month. He may get an easy lead in this race and if he does get that he'll be extremely hard to beat. West College should go well, although he finds winning difficult and could be vulnerable to Let's Discuss and We Go, who are stepping up in grade.
LARA has won twice in a similar grade to this recently and her last run can be forgiven as it was in a valuable allowance race and this is much more her level. Taylornator is another who goes well in this grade, while Wiseman's Fate looks best of the rest.
GUTSY GRAS hasn't been far away from breaking his maiden tag recently and this looks a good opportunity for him. Kilo has been dropping down in class and this is the weakest race he's contested in a long time, while Smooth Navigator is best of the rest.
MY HONEY LAURIE, an eight-time winner at this track, arrives in great nick for Llmar Loaiza and connections have found their mare a winnable opening. She can get the better of Unbridled Toga and Patron's Heidi H.
WINNING WITHHONOUR went down fighting when denied by a head here earlier this month and, an impressive winner the time before that, he can continue on an upward trajectory. Pepe and Roode Dude can also make the frame.
LOUIE'S LUCK was last seen contesting a more competitive event at Saratoga and can make the most of a drop in grade here. Battle Notes is feared most as he had Unbridled Band and West Sedona in arrears when touched off on his latest outing.
BREAKIN THE FEVER hacked up in a C&D stakes race in August and could prove tough to beat here. Frisky Warrior saw off Sundae On Sunday when last sighted and looks a leading danger.
NORTHERN GAL appeared to bump into a smart rival when finishing runner-up earlier this month, but did pull nicely clear of the reopposing third She's Risky, and is backed to go one better here. Letters Of Fire wasn't beaten by far when last sighted and also makes plenty of appeal.
