EXODUS made a bright start to his racing career when fourth over this trip at Leopardstown 11 days ago and is difficult to oppose here. He stayed on nicely under a sympathetic ride that day and is sure to know a lot more about the game now. Like the selection, Qubuh is entitled to have learnt a great deal from his debut experience at the Curragh last month and is expected to put up a much improved performance here, while any market support for Whatever It Takes on debut could well be worth noting.
This looks like a straightforward opportunity for Exodus to open his account. Mykonos rates as his biggest danger, provided his mishap at Killarney can be put down to greenness, whilst Qubuh may just edge out Optiflame for third.

PENCIL HILL is fancied to follow up his workmanlike success at the Curragh last time. Tracey Collins' charge was only 1 1/2-lengths behind Henrythenavigator in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes as a juvenile and showed that he still maintains plenty of ability on his latest outing. A 5lb rise in the handicap is unlikely to be enough to stop him from following up. Greatwallofchina went down by a narrow margin at Naas most recently and should be in the thick of the action once again, while Miss Eze looks set to run her usual solid race.
A very competitive handicap in which it is possible to make a case for all 12 runners. Fit The Cove hasn't been done any favours by the draw but is well capable of going close off what is a lenient mark. Pencil Hill is unexposed at this trip and may still be ahead of the handicapper, whilst Sixteen Forty Two shaped as if on the way back to form last time and has won twice around here.

Aidan O'Brien was responsible for the winner of this race 12 months ago and appears to have another outstanding chance with CLEARWATER BAY today. The offspring of Sadler's Wells stepped up on a promising debut performance when scoring effortlessly over this trip at Galway last time and, having still looked green that day, there should be a lot more to come. Address Unknown came agonizingly close to landing a Listed race on his latest outing and rates the biggest threat, while Icon Dream has place credentials dropped in grade.
A very strong race for the grade in which narrow preference is for the one-time Derby hopeful Address Unknown. He may be given most to do by Galway maiden winner Clearwater Bay who is probably a good bit better than he has been able to show so far. What A Charm may prove best of the rest.

A fascinating heat where the progressive OUR GAR is fancied to add to his tally. Despite being seven years of age, the gelding doesn't have many miles on the clock and looked better than ever when striking over this trip at the Punchestown Festival in April. He has been given time to freshen up and can continue where he left off. Carrigmartin has the hat-trick firmly in his sights following a couple of comfortable wins and is unlikely to go down without fighting, while Casey Top, One Cool Tornado and Battle Group add further spice to an intriguing race.
An above-average novice hurdle for this time of year with 11 of the 13 runners having won at least once over hurdles. Carrigmartin is sure to have his supporters, especially with Tony McCoy in the saddle, but preference is for Our Gar who looked a smart prospect last term. One Cool Tornado has place claims again.

This race was won by the exciting Loosen My Load 12 months ago and today's red hot favourite, THE REAL ARTICLE, could be just that. He hasn't put a foot wrong in three bumper starts and is reported to have schooled well prior to his hurdling debut this afternoon. Providing he takes to timber, it's highly likely that he will be turning up at the Cheltenham Festival come March. Although yet to win a race, Far Away So Close has displayed a fair level of ability in six outings thus far and should give a good account, while Riverstown is another with place claims.
The Real Article is a very exciting recruit to hurdling but that is likely to be reflected in his price so the vote goes to Riverstown who should have the speed to cope with the drop back to this trip. Far Away So Close will be there or thereabouts again.

There has been nobody better for training bumper winners in recent years than Willie Mullins and he appears to have a leading chance with RED TIGER today. The gelding stepped up on a moderate debut performance when runner-up at Killarney last time and there should be further improvement to come. Tistobesure is entitled to strip fitter for his comeback run at Roscommon some six weeks ago (first run since April last year) and could feature, while Aughnacurraveel was set a stiff task at Punchestown latest but had previously shown plenty of ability.
It is hard to go against Willie Mullins in these events and his Red Tiger looks the one to be on here with the return to this trip sure to suit. Aughnacurraveel, Sultans of Swing and Total Pleasure appeal as the main dangers.
