COPPER CANYON made a bright start to his racing career when runner-up over a similar trip at Folkestone recently and, with improvement expected, he could go one better today. King Of The Celts has yet to finish out of the frame in three appearances and seems sure to be in the thick of the action again, while Zamina has displayed a fair level of ability in both starts thus far and it's interesting title-chasing jockey Paul Hanagan comes in for the ride.
Copper Canyon shaped like a certain future winner when runner up over 7f at Folkestone recently and could prove the best option in a wide-open affair. King of The Celts and Number Theory are others that should be on the premises.

Set To Music wasn't beaten too far, despite only managing ninth, on the all-weather at Kempton last time and warrants respect on her turf return, but it's extremely difficult to oppose THE SHREW. John Gosden's charge stepped up on a pleasing debut performance when touched off over C&D latest and there should be a lot more to come. Silver Show appears to be heading in the right direction and has solid place credentials.
The Shrew just lost out over this C&D recently and can tame her rivals here. Cool Wind is a likely improver who could pose a big threat, alongside Set To Music.

ONE COOL BEX is taken to open his account at the fifth time of asking. He produced his best effort yet when third at Bath most recently and a repeat performance may well be good enough in what is certainly a winnable race. Bonjour Bongee appeared to benefit from the application of blinkers (worn again today) when runner-up in this grade at Lingfield two starts ago and he rates the biggest threat returning to this grade, while Venus Empress sports headgear for the first time and can't be ruled out.
Never Can Stop has not been discredited either start in nurseries and looks sure to play a leading role from her high draw with question marks surrounding many of her rivals. Sarandjam and One Cool Bex make most appeal of the remainder.

Select Committee returns to the scene of two of his four career victories thus far and recent placed efforts suggest that he's in good heart at present, but VERINCO gets the vote to make it three wins in a row. The four-year-old looked better than ever when striking at Carlisle last time and a further 4lb rise in the handicap may not be enough to bring his winning run to an end. Any market support for Bedloe's Island on his return to action could be worth noting.
Verinco is thriving at present, registering his third win of the campaign under his young rider at Carlisle last month and has good prospects of keeping his winning spree going. La Capriosa and Bahamian Ballet are others that are capable of having a big say in matters from their high draws.

An extremely competitive heat in which the in-form ALLANNAH ABU could just come out on top.
