There is no doubting Flying Pickets is well treated if capable of running to his mark in this claimer. However, Alan McCabe's charge hasn't been putting his best foot forward of late and it might be worth siding with CLEAN BOWLED, a former stablemate of the last-named, who turned over the reopposing Crowning Star in a Wolverhampton claimer last time and now debuts for a new trainer. The selection pulled ten-lengths clear of the field that day and looks the one to be on while his well-being is assured.
Clean Bowled thumped Crowning Star at Wolverhampton 9 days ago and can follow up in what looks another good opportunity for him. Flying Pickets may provide the biggest threat.

ROXELANA ran green on debut here in a 7f event here two weeks ago but is entitled to improve with the benefit of that run behind her now upped to this longer trip. The main danger could be Icelander, whose trainer continues to bang in the winners in maiden races at present. Arte Del Calcio shaped as if 1m would suit when outpaced at Wolverhampton latest and has place claims along with recent C&D fourth Devote Myself.
Roxelana shaped well on debut and can open her account stepped up in trip. Debutant Icelander cannot be ignored starting out for top connections, while Arte del Calcio is going the right way and is another to consider.

EL MCGLYNN's limitations are plain for all to see as she rolls up in Surrey this afternoon as a 62-rated maiden after nine previous runs. However, the form of her last-time-out second behind Al Freej at Wolverhampton looks the strongest offering in the race and she appears the most likely winner. The Kicking Lord could improve with the benefit of a debut run behind him and is feared most. Available returns from a 123-day break while Arabian Flight looks thoroughly exposed and returns to maiden company after a number of failed handicap outings.
Available had excuses when well held on her AW debut last time, and there was much to like about the speed she showed at Leicester on debut, so she gets the call over the exposed El McGlynn.

The best race on the card by quite some way which sees the likable LOCKANTANKS and Mr Willis renewing old rivalries after finishing second and third respectively behind Amitola in a C&D event two weeks ago. Both horses want marking up for those efforts in a race not run to suit, and the former is taken to come out on top as he is simply thriving at present and looks the better handicapped of the pair. Fourth behind the aforementioned pair latest, Numeral may be worth another chance over 1m, although, like penalised Kempton scorer Chilli Green, his best efforts to date have come up to 7f. The main danger thus appears to be the progressive Loyalty, who is rarely far away over this trip on polytrack and had the beating of a number of these, including Night Lily and Mia's Boy, on the all-weather in December.
Crown Counsel hails from a yard that can do little wrong at present, so looks worth chancing on his return under what is likely to be a front-running ride from Joe Fanning. Mr Willis and Lockantanks are closely matched on their C&D clash a fortnight ago, the pair again likely to play a prominent role.

Nubar Boy gained a long overdue success in 'Round Six' of this series last week and remains competitively handicapped off a 3lb higher rating. Clifford Reprieve is another that doesn't know how to run a bad race. Defeated by just a short-head over the minimum trip here last time, he may improve for the step up to this longer trip, but preferred ahead of both is C&D winner JOE LE TAXI. The selection has been taken (unsuccessfully) to the US, Ireland and Southwell in his quest for a fifth career success in the last twelve months. However, having won off 72 at his peak, it remains only a matter of time until he scoots up off a rating of just 63.
Last Saturday's C&D winner Nubar Boy should make a bold bid to follow up, but it's Cliffords Reprieve who is fancied to resume winning ways after running as if this return to further would suit here last time. Joe Le Taxi is dropping in the weights and is another to consider in a trappy race.

Satwa Laird has been in good form in claimers lately but needs to raise his game to follow up in stronger company here. Push Me is worth a market check now returning from a spell hurdling while there could be better to come from Legal Legacy now he is stepped back up in trip.
Plenty of these arrive in good form, none more so than Daniel Thomas, who bids to complete a four-timer. He is respected, but does have a big rise in the weights to contend with, and may be vulnerable to the likes of Legal Legacy and course-specialist The Happy Hammer.
