This looks a good opportunity for Punchestown Champion Bumper third JENARI to open his account over timber. He was only beaten a length into second on his hurdling debut at Galway last month and shouldn't have too much more to find to score. Milborough showed plenty of promise when fourth on his debut at Galway last month and could prove the one for the forecast, although chances might also be given to Not My Idea, Great Oak and Sandeel Bay on the pick of their form.
Plenty of dead wood in this maiden and it provides Jenari with a gilt-edged chance of going one better than at Galway. Great Oak is starting to look exposed but should still reward place bettors, while Not My Idea's debut run also brings him into the mix.

The experienced Rudigreen is not the most consistent but has claims on the pick of his form, while Our Nana Rose has struggled of late but must be given a chance off this mark if back to her best. Preference is for the progressive BAY OF KOTOR, who was a close fourth over 2m at Wexford last month. This doesn't look much tougher and there should be more to come from the five-year-old.
Luke's Benefit has been found a good opportunity to shed his maiden tag in this lady riders handicap, his recent form just about the best on offer, while he could get an uncontested lead. Our Nana Rose and Rudigreen make most appeal of the remainder.

Castle Wings fell last time out but looked a progressive hurdler before that and has claims if the fall hasn't dented his confidence. Hammersmith was an impressive bumper winner at Downpatrick last time out but that was 21 months ago and he may need the run. Jayeffkay and Noble Pageant must also be considered.
The 3 to focus on here are Whatwillwecallher, Castle Wings and Hammersmith, and they are selected to finsh in that order, the first-named a cracking prospect for novices this season.

It might be worth sticking with the experienced hurdler KIRBYBROGUELANTERN. After a disappointing summer, he returned to form with a good third here and a cosy win at Cork earlier this month. He's up 6lb but won with enough in hand to suggest he can follow up. Stony Grey Soil ended last season in good form and has claims here if resuming in the same mood, while Chebona Bula was a close third at Gowran Park latest and should be thereabouts. Knockcroghery and Sugar Bullet are others for the shortlist.
Strong-travelling Stony Grey Soil left the impression in 2 completed starts last term that he could yet have more to offer, so he's quite a confident selection. Sugar Bullet boasts solid place credentials, while the Flat exploits of Gareer suggest this sort of trip may suit nowadays.

Wins Now is weighted to go close off his present perch but preference is for CONEM, who looked badly outpaced over 2m2f at Wexford last time and should relish the step up to this longer trip. The selection was beaten by a short head off 4lb lower back in April and, after a spell hurdling, can return to winning ways now back over the large obstacles. Ponmeoath has been kept fit over timber in recent months and is another to consider now back chasing.
This looks a run-of-the-mill affair and Conem is the percentage call after a good run over hurdles last time. OSCARS BUSINESS has been in rude health between the flags this year and should mount a bold bid on his first run under Rules on soft ground known to suit. If the trip proves on the sharp side, Somedaysomehow looks the one most likely to profit, with the benefit of a pleasing introduction at Punchestown now under his belt. Cill Airne wasn't knocked about in a Cork bumper on debut last month and is also worthy of inclusion on the shortlist.
Oscars Business has done well in points and looks a sound choice to get off the mark on his Rules debut. Somedaysomehow is the pick of those to have raced in bumpers, ahead of Carries Darling.
