HEDAAYA has a handful of beautifully bred newcomers to see off but she looked a real prospect when a close second on debut here last time. That was over today's trip on similar ground and there should be plenty more to come. John Oxx won this last year and has the well bred Karasiyra among his entries. But it's interesting that stable jockey Mick Kinane is on board What A Charm and she would have a chance if building on her debut third at Cork latest. Watch the betting for clues about Aidan O'Brien newcomer Awe Inspiring who is bred to relish these conditions.
Hedaaya finished ahead of You'll Be Mine when making an encouraging debut, but doesn't look open to the same level of improvement as that one all the same, so the O'Brien filly is taken to reverse placings. A couple of others who should be in the mix are Anaverna and What A Charm, especially the latter.

POET looks the pick of the strong Aidan O'Brien trio. He showed good heart to win the red-hot Irish Cambridgeshire last time over a mile at the Curragh. He handled the give in the ground that day and looks open to plenty of improvement. Johann Zoffany should run a big race after winning well over this trip at the Curragh last time out. He's gone well here before and should be on the premises. Shreyas has been knocking on the door in this company all summer and has gone well here before. She will be right on the premises again.
Poet and Allied Powers have both already run to a good enough level to win an average renewal of this contest, but both also had tough races recently, so Shreyas is the selection dropped back to a more suitable trip.

Irish 1,000 Guineas winner AGAIN can get back to winning ways after finding the fast ground against her at Royal Ascot last time. The easier going here will be much more to her liking and she has been given a nice break since that Ascot effort. Rainbow View has been well backed on all starts this season and should be helped by this drop back to a mile after an excellent run at Goodwood last time. She handled the soft ground there and is sure to be on the premises. Heaven Sent was well down the field at Glorious Goodwood when she didn't seem to handle the track. She'll prefer this sounder surface and is a danger over her favourite trip.
This doesn't look the strongest of renewals and Rainbow View is sure to be popular again despite repeatedly coming up short in Group 1 company this term. Again has already scored at the highest level this term, however, and revels in soft ground, so she's the selection. Heaven Sent can complete the 3.

MAUNDY MONEY has gone up just 3lb despite running a close-up third in decent company at Galway last time. He handled the soft ground there and has no problem seeing out this trip. Seachantach saves his best for this trip and has been given a little break since a flat run at Galway. He should handle this ground and has solid place claims. Miss Gorica has been going well over 6f but has also tasted success over this course and distance so is another for the shortlist.
Across The Rhine won at Fairyhouse in the manner of one still well ahead of his mark and can go in again despite a 10 lb hike in the weights. White And Red is another to respect despite her wide draw, with the expected sound gallop likely to play to her strengths, whilst at bigger odds, Excelerate may reward each-way punters.

EYTARNA looked capable of stepping up in class when winning well at Tipperary last time out. She relished every yard of the 1m4f trip that day and it won't be a problem if the ground comes up very soft. Chirkova won her maiden well at Killarney latest and she wasn't running out of petrol over a furlong shorter than today. She will improve for that effort and should be right on the premises. Elyaadi will come right into the reckoning should the heavens open again. She loves to get her toe in and has winning form over 1m6f so will make it a real test of stamina.
The John Oxx/Aga Khan combination appear to have a couple with strong claims in this handicap courtesy of Eytarna and Adjaliya, the former getting the vote on grounds of draw and a slightly more progressive profile. DYNASTY almost won at the first time of asking at Fairyhouse last time only to be beaten in a photo. ASPECTOFLOVE won well here over a mile last time and a 7lb walk up the weights looks fair enough. It was good ground that day and she wouldn't want too much rain. Via Con Dios has been in excellent form and followed up two wins with a close second at the Curragh latest. He seems to handle any ground and will be on the premises again. A 10lb rise for winning at Bellewstown last time looks a little harsh on Peculiar Prince but he did it nicely and has solid place claims with conditions in his favour.
A difficult puzzle to solve and several of these come into this in good form, none more so than the Johnny Murtagh-ridden Via Con Dios, who looks to have a good chance dropped slightly in trip.
