FLIGHTY FRANCES could prove the one to be on in tonight's opening race. Despite being easily beaten in a seller at Leicester last time, this Camacho filly is currently one from one on a polytrack surface and it's interesting that title-chasing jockey Paul Hanagan rides for the first time. Whistleinthewind was unlucky to bump into the well-handicapped Alazan at Sandown latest and he should mount a bold bid with a visor replacing the customary blinkers, while Exceedthewildman drops into this low grade for the first time and is certainly no forlorn hope.
Whistleinthewind has a bit to do on this season's form, but shaped as if returning to his best at Sandown last time and may provide value against the Stan Moore pair Exceedthewildman and Officer In Command.

Chevise stepped up on a number of solid efforts when opening her account over C&D last month and she warrants the utmost respect in her bid to follow up, but they will all have to go some to beat BILKO PAK. Richard Hannon's colt is currently two from two on an all-weather surface and won with plenty to spare in this grade at Wolverhampton latest. Fifth Ave has winning C&D form under her belt and was narrowly touched off by the useful Phoebs in much better company at Windsor last time.
Rosina Grey takes a big drop in class and is preferred to Bilko Pak, who won for the third time in a similar event at Wolverhampton in September. Last month's C&D winner Chevise could prove dangerous if again allowed to dictate.

Saeed Bin Suroor was responsible for the winner of this race 12 months ago and appears to have another outstanding chance with BADEEL tonight. The form of his debut second at Redcar last month has took a boost with the winner, Abjer, landing a Group 3 race since and he's sure to know a lot more about the game now. Tiger Webb has filled the runner-up spot in each of his three starts thus far and should go close once again while Godolphin's other runner, Mariners Lodge, warrants respect following a pleasing debut effort at Goodwood.
There's a good chance that Godolphin will have a one-two here via Badeel and Mariners Lodge, selected in that order. Tiger Webb took a backward step last time, but if bouncing straight back, he should also figure prominently.

The Richard Hannon-trained SILVERWARE is taken to open his account at the third time of asking. The selection stepped up on a moderate debut performance when fourth over 7f at Goodwood three weeks ago and there should be a lot more to come. Laatafreet represents last year's winning connections and an entry in the Epsom Derby next season suggests that he has been showing plenty at home while Circus Star is entitled to have learnt a great deal from his debut fourth at Newmarket last month and cannot be overlooked.
Circus Star could be capable of improving considerably on his first run and is the most likely winner of those to have raced, but Laatafreet looks very interesting on debut and gets the nod. Silverware should do better again having been spared a hard race at Goodwood last month.

Sonning Rose finished well beaten in Group 3 company at the Curragh last month but she will find this less demanding so must be respected. Byrony struggled at Ascot last time but she had been in good form prior to that and she should not be overlooked. However, slight preference is for SEATTLE DRIVE who won well on soft ground at Newmarket on his debut and was narrowly denied in a decent conditions event at Newbury last month.
Seattle Drive doesn't have much in hand on form with Sonning Rose, but looks much more progressive and is a confident choice. David Simcock has his team in rare form and money for Navigation Track could be significant.

MISTER BIT stepped up on his previous form to finish runner-up to Celestial Girl over 1m2f at Lingfield on his handicap debut and, with this slightly longer trip likely to suit, he is fancied to go one better this evening. Celestial Girl reopposes on 4lb worse terms but she is still highly respected. Lady Lam finished runner-up over 1m3f at Warwick last month and a reproduction of that effort here would give her claims while Seattle Speight and Loden can also figure.

Ayam Zainah has shown more than enough to suggest she can take a hand in a contest of this nature and she has to be on the shortlist along with Shakespeare's Son who has been knocking on the door of late. Barberhoney is also considered but the one to beat could be SWANSEA JACK. He disappointed at Yarmouth last time but had previously been mildly progressive and he could be a little bit ahead of the handicapper.
Hard to be confident about of any of these but it might be worth risking Captain Bluebird bouncing back from a below-par effort at Wolverhampton on Saturday. Shakespeare's Son and Guildenstern are also in with a fair shout.

DRUBINCA has finished well beaten over 7f and a mile respectively on his two most recent outings but the return to sprinting should help and he could yet prove capable of better than his current mark of 50. Angle Of Attack is not the most consistent but he is attractively weighted on his best form and he worth a second look while Rigid remains a maiden after 12 outings but he has possibilities on the best of his placed efforts.
Mushy Peas remains open to progress returned to 6f and gets the vote ahead of Rigid and Mister Fantastic.
